That's not a lot of miles on a much bigger and heavier-duty truck, so you're not comparing apples to apples. However, I had an 87 Ford Ranger that had 744k on it with only $2k in maintenance. I had an 08 Ranger that I sold with 180k on it and no maintenance costs other than tires and brakes. My current Mav gets 60mpg instead of the real-world 12mpg that your Tundra gets. All the Tundras built in the last 6 years are getting whole-engine replacements under a recall right now, due to extremely poor product quality. I fully expect my Mav to get to at least 250k before needing anything serious, and a 12V battery is pretty trivial.I bought a 2002 Toyota Tundra. It has 185,000 miles on it and runs perfectly to this day. The Ford Maverick I bought, 2024, would never start. Got rid of it.
