My dealer did not really know what the problem was or how to fix it. Finally they said, it is a computer problem that Ford will fix in 2025. Pretty weak tea for me.
I paid 28K for the new truck. Car Max offered 25K for it but I was afraid of that because I knew something was wrong with it. A guy offered 20K and I took it. So call me stupid if you want. The dealer just did the stall and foot drag.
It started at the dealership, I would get it home and the next morning it wouldn't start. I would have to call my son, if he wasn't at work and he would come over and jump it, and I would drive it back to the dealership. It was a royal pain in the ass.
I am bitching on a Ford only site because it cost me eight K to get rid of it and Ford continues to sell this junk. I traded my Honda to get the lemon Maverick. I think this is a company propaganda site from the way you talk. I am done with it.
I bought a 2002 Toyota Tundra. It has 185,000 miles on it and runs perfectly to this day. The Ford Maverick I bought, 2024, would never start. Got rid of it.
I bought a new Ford Maverick and I would go out and it wouldn't start. I would take it to the dealer, they would mess with, I would take it back and it wouldn't start. I did that several times, finally I got rid of it. Before that I had three Honda CRVs that I drove each for 250,000 with no...
I bought a new 2024 and had the battery problems. So I sold it and took a loss. Who needs that kind of problem. I was told it will be fixed some time in 2025 as a computer issue. Ford is guilty here selling a vehicle with problems, how can they get away with it. I will never buy another Ford.
I am no mechanic and got tired of a dead battery so I sold my new Maverick for a three thousand dollar loss and am fixing up my old, reliable Toyota Tundra.
Same thing happened to me. I took it to the dealer three times. They put a new battery in and did some other things that didn't help, but finally it seems to be working. I don't trust it so my son has taken it and it seems to be working for him. How can Ford get away with this situation, and...
I bought a Maverick on July 22 and have had it in to the dealer three times for dead battery. The second time they put a new battery in and it went dead. It is dead now. They do not know what the problem is and they can't fix it. I told them I wanted my money back or a new vehicle that...
I own a 2024 Maverick and am having the problem of the vehicle going dead. Has happened three times, take it to the dealer and then it happens again. I don't thing Ford knows how to solve this. Some say an AGM battery will fix it. What do you think?
I am old and have a new Mav with the battery problems. It is at the dealer now and I told them I needed an ABM battery put in. Even so, now I don't trust this vehicle. I guess I will wait for the new battery, then trade the vehicle for say a Kia Soul, heard they were good. At my age I don't...
