I thought I would put my build progress up. I have a few more things to do still.

2023 Maverick XLT Hybrid, Cactus Grey

Upgrades:
RTR Tech 6 - Satin Charcoal wheels 17"
245/70R17 Nitto Nomad Grapplers
Zep purple degreaser on tail lights
ZPEL 35% film on headlights.
Painted side emblems with Tremor Orange
Tinted windows
XPEL Stealth whole car cover
Bed Rug

In progress: Flatout Suspension GS Coilovers to lift 1.5". They sent the wrong rear setup so have the front on, but OEM rear. It is supposed to lift an additional 1.5". Tires already added 1" and surprisingly they fit on OEM height.

Alright I'll be there first to ask, how much was the full xpel stealth? My local dude quoted almost 1/4th the cost of my truck.
If you look at the price of a full wrap as a percentage of the cost of your truck, it's going to seem expensive. If you don't, it'll still seem expensive. It's a lot of work.

This looks totally righteous! Like a battleship!

@miike - We're going to have to meet up so I can check this Stealth PPF out in person! I randomly walked into Xpel Boise today and they were telling me about a Maverick they just did in stealth and I figured it had to be yours! I also want to check out your Flatout setup bc I'm planning to go to that next year (unless Eibach gets their version up & running since my dad won $1k in Eibach credit at Overland Expo and has no use for it :D )

Its not for the $$[faint]$$ of heart... My wife bought a $50K car and I got a $28K truck that I will probably add another $10K to. Expensive upgrades? Hell yes, but it's still a lot less than her car (and most) and I like 100x more!

Ha! Yup, that was me. XPEL Boise did it and I just picked it up on Tuesday.

As for the @Flatout Suspension I bought. I need to wait until I sort it out the right parts and get it lifted another 1.5" before I give you my final verdict on the suspension.

Let's meet up. I'm in central boise off State street most work days. Send me a PM

Looks great! Xpel had tinted my windows last year and I swung in to grab the free bottle of detail spray they were giving away and they just happened to mention yours.

Flatout seems like a good crew. I've seen a couple other small mistakes and they look like they've always made it right. The credit I have at Eibach is holding me up but they haven't even confirmed if their lift coilover for Maverick will actually even make it to production.

I'll shoot you a DM about meeting up!

that is very high. in a competitive market, a reasonable price for xpel stealth on an entire Maverick would be $5,000 - 6,000 at most.

there are other matte ppf films available. xpel is good, but they're priced at the top of the market.

btw I have a cactus grey truck also, and this looks great! it seems less transformed to me, than other paint options I've seen. carbonized grey and area 51 for example, look VERY different with stealth ppf. eruption green on a bronco becomes like an army green. this is pretty subtle.

OP, did you move your hybrid badge? Mine is on the bottom left of the tailgate. Yours is on the bottom right.

Didn't plan to, but XPEL installers did it and rather than have them move it back, I kinda liked where it was so I left it :)

I want to matte ppf my Atlas blue when I get it. I keep cars for a long time and think it would be worth the investment to protect the thin paint.

I would love to see that done. As far as preferences, I don't love shiny blue, but i have a feeling that a Matte on the Atlas Blue could be one of the best looking colors out there. The difference will be dramatic.

Another note, if you get PPF done. I highly recommend buying flexible ceramic coating (you'll pay about $80), and if you do it right away, very little prep needs to be done. But I added this to my PPF film the day after I took it home and I got 2 coats on there in about 1.5 hours and this thing sheds water and dirt like crazy. It's the way to go.
