I know it's been a couple weeks but I am actively working on deadening the roof, I should have it finished tomorrow. Once that is done I will finally be able to focus on building the back end.

And all that is left is for me to take a break and then put the headliner back up.

Is their a lot of room on the roof? Thinking about doing mega zorbe on mine but it's 1/2" thick and don't think it would fit. But your the first person I've seen that's taken it down so just wondering your opinion

Id say probably not, id stick to just deadener and closed cell foam.

I figured that, I'll most likely use either some woven acoustic mat or my fibermat I have which is like thinsulate, it was worth a ask lol but happy I didn't spend the money on it to just not able to use it

A couple general facts I thought of and calculated today. Total deadener used, 70 sq ft give or take a little, total weight added 54 lbs roughly. Total closed cell foam used, 72 sq ft roughly, with a total addition of roughly 15 lbs. MLV used is roughly 30 sq ft and a rough calculation of 45 lbs. So in total 114 lbs give or take a little has been added by doing all the sound deadening.

So I changed my mind, as that happens. And since im not getting any younger the full rear seat delete with enclosure is off for now. I picked up a dual 10 box from Sounddecisions and a pair of Sundown Audio SML 10s which arrive today. I am also ditching the sounddigital Evox 800.4 over a RF T400-2 that I have still from an older system. I am also going to use a template I found on here to make a bracket/mounting plate to put my LC2i behind the glove box.

This is the new mounting points for the amp board I just got done putting in, letting the epoxy cure now. I used this https://www.lowes.com/pd/J-B-WELD-S...-Adhesive-Actual-Net-Contents-2-Fl-Oz/3389024 4000lb test up to 350 degree heat and fully cured in 1 hour.

The amp board will have a leg on the bottom that I am going to use the factory jack bolts you see on the floor there to also brace it.

And here is a picture of the enclosure.

Here is a link the subs I have arriving today.

That bottom board is not able to be bolted down, but its very much snug and in place.

Well I got a bit more done, not finished of course but ive been at it all day off and on since about 9am. Here a shot with how the amps and DSP are mounted, all this will be cleaned up tomorrow I am just out of energy and have a migrane.

And yes my mids/highs amp is bigger physically than my sub amp, that is a class a/b amp compared to a class d.

And the subs have arrived, very impressed with them for being slim mount.

And the work continues, got the wiring cleaned up, the factory cubby plastics back in and the sub box fitted. All I have left after I take a break is to wire up the LC2i behind the glove box and all done.
