Not sure how long you're prepared to wait around on that, but looking at the "similar threads" below, and doing a quick SEARCH of the forum suggests this is an incredibly rare issue.I know not everyone who has a Maverick monitors this website but it would sure be nice if someone is having a similar issue and better yet learning how it got resolved..
Paul,My update-
I took it in to the dealer on 2-15-26 and have driven up to around 2000 miles since.
At my previous visit they had advised me they topped of the fluid but when I picked it up after my last visit on 2-15-26 they denied they topped it off and claimed the fluid never dropped.
I have to take their word for it that they did not add fluid even though they told me they did before.
I have been monitoring the fluid level and have no noticeable drop over the last 2000 miles.
I know the previous drops were not my imagination.
When I did fill the fluid myself the first time I went near the Max line since the vehicle was cold and ambient temps were middle of the road, like 60-70f, being at the full mark is what I'm used to.
I found it odd that out of the showroom these vehicles are not delivered with the fluid at the Max line.
On 2-15-26 the fluid level was at the seam of the reservoir and has remained there for these last 2000 miles.
I will say when I'm stopped at a stop light and in drive sometimes I notice a slight 'bird -cooing' sound that does not happen if I change to neutral at the light.
I will continue to monitor.
