My update-
I took it in to the dealer on 2-15-26 and have driven up to around 2000 miles since.
At my previous visit they had advised me they topped of the fluid but when I picked it up after my last visit on 2-15-26 they denied they topped it off and claimed the fluid never dropped.
I have to...
I agree it is likely a rare issue as I did scour this website before starting this thread but again I perceive there are plenty of new car vehicle that don't monitor or use these websites.
We have had cold weather (highs in the low teens, below zero at night for a week) but I tend to dismiss that since the brake fluid dropped as much in the summer, fall and winter.
I suspect DadofTim is more on target thinking it is some type of master cylinder seal.
My 2023 was AWD but did have...
Apparently it is not so easy that the dealer will do it.
I guess they have to pull the booster off or at least get a camera scope into the diaphragm somehow to see it.
In the old days, if I suspected it was going bad I'd drive hard, brake hard prior to a sharp curve and see the blue smoke bellow...
Also my mine goal at this point is to see if anyone else is having the issue of brake fluid loss without external leaks.
That way I could show the dealer that others are having the same issue so they can stop denying there is something internal going on.
The critical part is there is no external brake fluid leak.
This has been confirmed by my mechanic and the dealer.
The pedal pressure is no wear near as firm as my 2023 was
I now have about 8,800 miles on my 2025 Ecoboost Maverick.
I had to add brake fluid at about 3000 miles as it had obviously dropped about 1/4" in the reservoir..
I had done no towing and mostly highway driving.
At about 6000 miles I had to add another 1/4" to the reservoir.
I did about 1000...
So it's over a year later since the last post on this thread, but if any one is still out there and has the breezer I'd like to know if you ever drive with it tilted inward instead of totally removing it.
How does it behave ?
When I go on a road trip the gas is 30 cents less per gallon. It's hard to resist putting higher-octane gas in. This is a turbocharged motor and though 87 octane is the minimum (what comes out of the gas station tank could be less) and the owner’s manual does recommend up to 90 or 91 octane...
Does anyone actaully have the "Breezer" ?
When you remove the glass are you able to store it behind the rear seat without too much fear of damaging the glass ?
Had a 2023 it did it very frequently.
Traded for a 2025 for other reasons it has done it maybe 3 times in 3 months.
This is much less than the 2023 would do it.
I have driven the 2025 in many rainy conditions both highway and city traffic.
The new grille design seems to reduce the frequency...
Well I removed one and as suspected found the support for the skirt got a bit too precarious for my taste even though I put all the bolts back in after the removal.
If it bugs me I will cut them as I was thinking. That would preserve all the skirt support down there.
