Blinker noise too loud

To be serious and address this issue without cynicism or sarcasm, the real issue is federal regulations. The audible turn signal indication is required. Is there a minimum dB requirement? I couldn’t find that. But given that many older drivers are hearing impaired, it would make sense that manufacturers make them louder than they are required to, so that they don’t get sued for an accident where someone claims the turn signal wasn’t making any audible warning.

Taking a quick trip through other forums, you’ll see users complaining about loud blinkers for virtually every make and model of cars.

The bottom line is that it is a legal requirement, just like the loud, annoying, chime to put your seat belt on. This is an issue that you’re just going to have to live with.

Maybe find the noise module and wrap some kind of soundproofing around it.

People keep telling me the blinker noise is very loud and annoying when on a phone call. Especially if at a long traffic light waiting to turn. Anyone else hear this complaint and does anyone have a work around for it?
