I know that that are a polarizing accessory but I've had them on every car I've ever driven and I just want to see what the consensus is for the most durable and functional and good-looking ones for a '26 XL.

I don't have a preference for in-channel vs adhesive tape attached ones. I also didn't care if they are $$$, I just want to buy once, cry once.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I've always been a fan of the in-Channel window vents. Whether they're EGR, WeatherTech.
I've never cared for a stick on window vents, until I saw pictures from one of our members who had trimmed Ford OEM's to fit perfectly on his Maverick.
Stick-on are great, provided you do excellent surface preparation prior to installing.

I have these and like them, no issues, though the install is a bit finicky but worth it.

I had some outside the visor ones stick on to the door ones on my previous vehicle and the adhesive was lifting in a lot of places all the time so I think I'm team in-channel now.

I put the Weathertech visors on my truck. Cost a bit more, but better than the ones that stick on the outside on the window frames.

Thanks for the feedback!

I think I'm going to try the WeatherTech ones. I'll post back with pics.

I have these as well. I really like the look and I don't like the idea of the stick-on. I did notice a little bit of increased wind noise at highway speeds but I assume that is the case with them all.

I have these on three vehicles, and they are stick-ons. I buy through Amazon, and the ones on our 2022 CR-V even have chrome to match the car's trim. Since I made sure they have genuine 3M adhesive I have had no problems with them sticking. They do add a bit of "wind whoosh", but most do that anyhow.
NOTE: by having them one can lower the windows to allow fresh air, yet protect against a sudden rain shower.

I live in the desert.
The AC is mandatory 9 months of the year. Windows remain open for ventilation when the truck isn't in the garage to avoid 150° interior temperatures.
Yes, vent visors for me.

They also shade the low winter sun glare.

Here's a photo of the interior of my wife's Escape. Closed up sitting outside in 105° temperature.
Interior temperature 150°
Temperature taken on the shaded parts.
Vinyl covered armrest 190°
Fabric seats 157°

Useful for my lifestyle. 🌵
