My 25 Lariat came with a spray in liner, it looks great, but smooth items like plastic boxes slide back an forth. I purchased a rubber bed mat from Tractor Supply for under $100 that works great. It stopped 98% of items sliding around in the bed. The mat was cut to the correct size and even the tie downs on the floor were cut out to the proper size and location.

I'll do it to keep the bed floor in pristine condition

Check out Vevor's TPC mat for the Maverick. I've had other types with other trucks, but really likevthis mat.

I installed the Black Armour bed mat because it was the thickest I found, 1/2", and it is heavy. It performed perfectly on my cross Canada camping trip and recently I carried a full bed of gravel and the mat was perfect. It is so much easier on the knees than the spray in liner, I think this makes it a must have add on. Things do not slide around like, the Allan Blocks that I needed the gravel for.
They staid where I put them with no sliding around. It is also easy to remove to clean the bits of dirt and gravel that manage to get around the edges.

I bought a Ford mat for my Lariat with factory spray in bed liner. Stuff slides around without it. The stuff I carry appreciates the rubber to sit on.
Same here. Much less sliding around with the rubber mat ontop of the liner.

My current truck (Nissan Frontier) has a factory SIBL. Threw in a rubber bed mat for reasons already mentioned here...easier on the knees, prevents stuff from sliding around, also gives a flatter surface rather than the ridges in the bed floor.

However, I trimmed a piece of indoor-outdoor carpet (basically Bed Rug) and threw it on top of the bed mat that is on top of the SIBL. I guess I'm a belt-and-suspenders-over-boxers-over-briefs person.

What I found is that not being able to slide things around easily was more cumbersome than just strapping things down on a lower-friction surface. Most of the time, I can spread things out to take up all of the bed floor space so nothing has room to move around anyway. Hence the carpet.
I did the same with I/O carpet over bedmat over SIBL. Great on knees and best compromise for keeping items from moving around and still sliding into bed easily without getting caught on the rubber bed mat. I/O carpet is .65 cents per sq ft at Home Depot.

Anyone install one over spray in liner what kind any advice or experience. THANKS.
Curious why you want to do this.is it because a drop in is easier to load and unload stuff?

Question to everyone posting the mat is easier on the knees. Why are you crawling into 4.5' bed? There is nothing that I can't reach from the side if it is at the front. I don't remember the last time I crawled into a truck bed. First truck in 1979 was a 1971 F100, later a 1992 Ranger, 2014 F150, 2023 Silverado and now a 2024 Maverick and I can only remember 1 time being on my knees in the bed of any of them. Of course I can't remember where my shoes are most days :ROFLMAO: . Just curios how often and why you all are praying in the bed of your Mavericks .

You obviously don't have a toneau cover on your bed. It is then a complete pain to reach in easily and grab something..

Rough Country flip hard cover. But if the cover is open I can reach right in. 1 of the reasons I bought the flip up is to access the bed. 2014 F150 had a tri-fold hard cover and didn't crawl into it either and it was full of totes for tools and equipment. See post #17.
So you didn't really answer why or how often you need to kneel in the bed.

When the 3 section toneau cover is in place and I need to reach in and grab something close to the cab I either unfold the whole cover or kneel on the mat and reach in from the back. It actually happens more often than you might think. My 70 year old knees thank me for the new mat.

I have the same Bed Mat from Tractor Supply but not the spray in Bed Liner and it's great and was $101.00 shipped to My Front Door.

Yes. I got the one from Ford. It stops stuff from sliding around.
