No, they just plug a computer into the OBD-II port, then install the update, and it is slow to load and install the new firmware update.

1.5 hours to update the radio software? Do you have to tear the dash apart to do it?

12 volt battery has to be fully charged before software update is done.

Don't forget the 22-23 Lariats that didn't have the Lux Package. Not all Lariats had that. Mine doesn't.

because if they do have those, obviously they would update those first so they can be sold.

They have 10, they didn’t sold any of them with the recall, during the time when recall started. They also say they they will do my over them because the others maverick just sitting here, waiting to be sold. If they sold one before Thursday, they will be doing them before my.

that's pretty strange of them, I guess they don't have anyone still waiting on a 2024 custom order, and they don't really care when they get them sold. at the least they should have done one of those first to make sure they had everything, and not wasted your time.

Assuming the service departments gave the software fix they will be getting those 24s on the lot ready to sell ASAP.

They have knocked off another $5,000.00 off the one that I'm getting

It will take 1.5 or 2 hours to update the audio controller module to complete

I have a question but it's at the end of my explanation...

I'm going to wait till I do my oil change because they have to change the oil, and then they do an under carriage inspection because I have rust proofing and they have to check it once a year and make sure it's still whatever I don't know. And then I have a little wipes that they can use to make the windshield look like it has rain x or something, don't ask me I have no idea. So that'll all take an hour and half to two hours, so I'm assuming that they'll be able to start the update and then do all the other things while it's updating correct? Or does the update have to just sit there by itself for an hour and a half
