Start/stop technology: where your car dies at every red light so companies get a climate participation trophy. EPA approved it, and everyone hates it, so we’re fixing it.

I think my hybrid Mav is pretty awesome.Excited to see this. I hope it's true.
Now if we could get the emissions standards relaxed so we could go back to building awesome cars again.
but its not required...unlike lets say the rear camera. thats where I dont understand the issue. There are brand new vehicles being made without the auto start stop. no issues/rules saying it needs it...etc. some manufactures made the decision to use them (I assume) because of the clients (aka customers). if they figure nobody uses it, then they no longer use it.It was the dumbest addition on newer vehicles in the 2010s.
Yup dumbest feature added imo to vehicles.but its not required...unlike lets say the rear camera. thats where I dont understand the issue. Prime example.... look at the Ford Parking Assist thing...where it would help you parallel park. What current Ford vehicles still have that feature? Should be none....they stopped it.
people either don't notice, or they hate it.![]()
Lol "everyone hates" - just another unqualified hire speaking out of their knowledge base.
