Auto stop/start

This function stopped working on my 2024 XL. Ford replaced the battery and 2 days later it stopped working again. Now waiting on Ford.

Does it work after a long drive? it almost never works for any Maverick immediately after starting. Also, that little sensor on your battery controls Auto/start stop based on battery voltage. Check if that sensor is damaged or unplugged. Also, Auto start stop is disabled in some modes like SPORT

Did the technician who changed the battery do a BMS reset procedure?

Fish, another thing that helped me was using ForScan to changed the battery charge level from 80% to 95%.

Also, if you are running defrost it will almost never kick off.

And if the A/C is on and needs the compressor to run the engine will not turn off.
