My premium went down 25%. No idea why. 2020 crv fwd to 2022 maverick xl awd.
Maybe maverick MSRP less than that of crv? and/or maverick has more safety features and/or you have agreed to allow ins co to monitor your driving in maverick. Did you have an additional vehicle added to policy so now you are getting multi vehicle policy discount. Also if you had a job change and now you drive 12 blocks to work instead of 20 miles and you told ins agent maybe you wouldn't put many miles on it = you got a discount (if so you will have to report annually the miles driven) unlikely you got this.... Just ask agent

Negative to all. No changes other than vehicles. (almost identical MSRP) Maybe CRV is high theft? Dunno.

Just a heads up to anyone that is insuring with geico because they do not have the Vin in the system make sure that they put you safety features in by hand when all my documents made it to me after a few weeks the girl that did it put that the truck had no restraint no security system no airbags...etc because it didn't auto populate for her so I save an additional 100.00 now that mine has been fixed. My bill only went down about 15 bucks

I bought a lariat lux ecoboost and used progressive. With 100/300 k bodily injury and uninsured motorist coverage I’m paying $100 a month and I’m under 25 years old. So it’s frigging cheap.

I'm at $262 every 6 mos with State Farm. Bundled with home insurance, multicar discount and accident free are all major factors.

Insurance cost is something I checked before ordering. I have AAA & they quoted me $210 for 6 months, about $80 more than my 04 Taurus, they used another customers VIN & I don't know how that truck was equipped. I am getting multi vehicle discount.

I pay about $450 for the Accord and about the same for the F150.

I have never had an at fault accident and only filed one claim for vandalism in 45 years of driving.

I thought the rates were high.

The insurance agent tells me a big part of the premium is that cars are so expensive to repair. It's not my 28k Maverick, it's the 100k Mercedes I might plow into.

Since Ford just e-mailed us our VIN# (though production won't start until 2/28/22), my insurance company gave me a full coverage quote that is only approx. $26. more than my current 19-yr old Hyundai Elantra GLS, that will also include the $6. monthly GAP insurance coverage as well. So for us the montly ins. cost will be in the upper $80's range. We're getting the XL AWD Ecoboost. Surprisingly inexpensive to insure the Maverick. We do have excellent, accident & ticket-free driving records as well so I'm sure that is partly why it's so cheap. It also depends on where you live. We're in north Reno, NV.

Just read this, The three states where insurance rates could jump by more than 50% this year are California, Minnesota and Missouri, the Insurify report found. Drivers in those states could see their rates rise by 54%, 61% and 55%, respectively.
I am in Michigan, 24 Mav Hybrid Xlt, 850.00 year Farm Bureau. 100.00/500.00 deductible.

Any experience on the cost of auto insurance for those whom have taken delivery? I’m curious to see if all the safety features on the Lariat model help to reduce insurance cost? Anyone have a VIN their willing to let me borrow to check? lol. New vehicle so my insurance company can’t really get me a figure until I have a VIN.
You usually need the specific VIN for an exact rate, but some agents can give a ballpark using the trim level. Those Co-Pilot 360 features should help lower it.
