Any experience on the cost of auto insurance for those whom have taken delivery? I’m curious to see if all the safety features on the Lariat model help to reduce insurance cost? Anyone have a VIN their willing to let me borrow to check? lol. New vehicle so my insurance company can’t really get me a figure until I have a VIN.

I pulled VINS off dealers websites to do exactly this about a month ago. It's cheaper to insure than my 2018 Subaru Impreza. Around $60 per month for full coverage on the Impreza vs $42 on the Maverick. The trim didn't really matter. I think the only safety feature that they asked if it had was blind spot monitoring, so that is what affects the rate. This was with Progressive.

If you need a vin just search inventory on Fords website most have window stickers with VIN.

I have a XLT FX4 with 360 system lane keep and auto stop and geico didn't have it in the system but with a completely clean record and no accidents ever at 33yo in the state of Maine geico is charging 130/month on a financed vehicle so full coverage

As an Impreza Sport owner without Eyesight this makes me happy to know I might be paying less for insurance. (Though my wife's Mustang Mach-E will make things more expensive than her former Civic).

Coming from a 21 Kia Seltos Ex to my XLT FX4 with Lux, I am paying 2 dollars more a month for full coverage (82 for the Kia, 84 for the maverick) buuuuut I drive 20k miles a year, have 1 not at fault and 1 at fault on my record... And I changed my liability limit from 10k to 100k when I insured my maverick (because no one ever explained liability to me on auto insurance, and 10k is stupid low)

That is my exact configuration. Sport hatch without Eyesight. Maverick is cheaper to insure 🥳.

If you do use someone's vin be sure it is for one that is MSRP as close to your MSRP as possible as they will use the vin to determine the comprehensive $$ they would pay out. Also if you compare with amount someone says they are paying you will have to determine their deductibles are the same as what you want to buy (I buy $25/$250 deductibles). Plus elevated liability, etc. Was nice last year when $9k hail damage cost me $25 out of pocket. Your personal quote with the proper vin to establish MSRP is the only way to get a good estimate.

$39.03 monthly from State Farm. But there a lot of variables to figure in. Age, yearly miles driven, city car is garaged in, different coverage amounts etc., etc., etc. I understand the vin tells it all but when I emailed my agent with purchase information I listed each safety feature the car had. The only extra discount I saw was anti-theft. Full coverage.

GEICO quoted me a few dollars difference between my 2016 Chevy Colorado and the 2022 Ford Maverick. I think the cost went up $17 per 6 months. Ford’s Vins have not been released to the insurance companies just yet, so they have to do a little looking rather than using the automated system To get a final price for you,
