This is the first ARE V shell we have put on a Maverick at our shop. I've been waiting to see one on before I order one for my Cactus Gray XLT EB AWD FX4.

There's the cap I want. I'd put a canoe rack on top in the middle so I can lift it off easy when I want to haul my motorcycle or whatever.

I think a better look is to paint the canopy to match the trim, keeping the "truck" look.
Did a quick PS test out of curiosity. I think I'd be ok with either body color or black but I see what you mean by keeping the "truck" look. The effect would probably would be even more pronounced on a lighter body color.

Thanks for posting @Bearr324 - Looking forward to more photos of finished install when they're available.

Liking this cap.

This looks awesome! Great visualization.

I think with the Maverick there's so much unpainted cladding around the bottom and bed edges and it kinda defines the "outside" silhouette. So the body matched paint on a cap can look a bit weird because it looks like a separate item sitting on top.

That's the best looking one yet for the Mav!! But I still don't get why people put a cap on a truck. At that point you should just be getting an SUV....
Try putting a load of gravel or dirt in an SUV! I had a canopy on my 99 Ranger for 20 years, took it off by myself many times, but default position was "on the truck". Only way to keep things dry, haul four dogs around and even transport a llama.

At the moment our rep hasn't given any word on add their other models to the Mav lineup.
My ARE dealer was told the next one is the MX. I think I'm going to be disappointed with the cab-hi V, but need one now.

I saw that the the LEER/Snugtop cap includes T wiring harness connectors behind the taillights. Does the ARE need/include those?

I’m still extremely interested in any information we all can get out of ARE on the mid rise shell. Please post if you learn anything like when it will be released.

Because a person wants things out of the winter weather but not in the cab with ya. I trap coyotes all winter. I don't want them getting wet while driving around all day and I definitely don't want them dropping fleas and ticks all over inside the cabin with me. I always take the cap off in summer and put it on when season starts in October.

Is there an option for flip up side windows to access the bed from the side instead of slide to opens?
