MavTruck Club-I offer my apologies for going off the deep end last Thursday and Friday with the incessant complaining about Ford and the rollout of the Mav. I know there's orders before my July 7, and you call should be more upset than i am at this point! I did talk to my dealer Saturday and his response was "Ford will get to everyone's order at the dealership at some point; this is SOP for any order i submit for customers orders. I'm always last and missing out on $. And Ford will never explain or help with the issue."

I was really fed up last Thursday when my build didn't get schedule and needed to vent. So apologies to all for taking away time from looking at people's delivered Mavs or discussing how amazing this little truck is going be.

Promise to be on my best behavior Thursday...
No worries. Patience is all we have to have at this point. My order for Cyber Orange Lariat Hybrid, Lux, 360 ++ confirmed August 19. Other than the Fit email, I got nothing.

This is the first time in my 60+ years that I've actually ordered a vehicle. Two of our good friends who bought 2001 PT Cruisers both had to wait 6 months for their cars. We bought our 2003 in 2004, used, and the '04 and '05 were on the dealer's lot. By December of 2009 the '03 and '05 PT's had become "show cars", and I was needing a daily driver. On a service visit to the dealer, the owner said he was going to order a 2010 PT for stock...what color(s) did I like? I told him white. He ordered the car with my name on it (unbeknownst to me) so the dealership could get the car quicker. When it came in they invited me over to see it. Well...the sticker proclaimed the car had been "Built specially for ____" with my name on it, so we became a 4 PT family.

I knew when I placed the order for the Maverick it might take awhile, especially being a totally new vehicle. It's a good thing that we like our two C-Max's as much as we do...they're both ready for winter, and we'll be sad to see them go, but the garage will be able to hold more "stuff" after the truck arrives.

Don't sweat it. This what happens every time a deadline or date is given and then things don't happen as we hope. Patience is a hard to find characteristic when you have waited and been told one thing just to have that changed several times. Everyone understands and empathizes with you as we are all IN THE SAME BOAT, or one very similar. My lease ends on the 15th of this month and I will be driving my golf cart and RV until my Maverick comes in. Hoping for a January delivery; but am prepared for March or April. I have my health, a nice home, and good friends. This Maverick is just going to be another car that I will most likely LOVE! Don't cancel your order, stay calm and enjoy life as it is. It will be worth the wait, I'm sure. Happy Holidays and Hybrid wishes to everyone waiting. No COAL in my stocking, Please!!!

Hah, while I am glad I got scheduled in the last round, it honestly felt incredibly underwhelming. Scheduled for Jan 31st, which means probably end of Feb/early March delivery. So I'm still waiting another 3 months for the truck as it stands.

Everyone needs to vent sometime I suppose, I just try and make sure I respect everyone else opinions when I do :p
I get that but it's nice to know you have 3 more months vs. it could be 6 more months.

Hahaha- you are good mate. Reserved day one, took months to find a dealer that would convert my order (late August). Found that dealer and they know less about what is going on than I do. No emails from Ford at all…at least I know I am priority ten. I have never worked so hard to give someone my money, and will likely lose my shit at some point….
It is totally ok that you went there.

Don't worry about it. That is what this forum is for. It seems like a lot of us have had bad experiences in the customer service area with either Ford or our dealership. My dealership has been good to deal with, but some times they seem to be just as in the dark as I am. Ford has been very unresponsive except for confirming my order and advising me of my build date. Other than that, zero. So don't feel bad about complaining, it is totally understandable. We all are hopeful that the final product is much better than the costumer service.

It's not just Ford, sadly. Lay-Z-Boy has 6-9 month waits on some models of Recliner. Kitchen remodel and we had to settle for less than first choice for range, oven and micro. Luck of the Irish I we got the exact fridge we wanted due to an order not picked up. Over a year on the new dining room table and matching chairs and that is not cast in stone. Do not even get me started on some building supplies or their prices these days.. Veneer plywood? Fagetaboutit. LOL Sadly, a sign of the times I fear.
yep ,Went to Lowes yesterday bought 3 sheets of 3/8" CDX plywood ,cdx is the cheapest grade ,you sitting down? $54 a sheet plus tax!!:) God forbid if hurricane season in Florida this late summer ramps up ..Freaking plywood will be $200 a sheet

NO WORRIES! Everyone here totally gets the frustration ,no rhyme or reason as to how these build dates get allocated. Hopefully you get pleasant surprise on Thursday :) then you can go about waiting for a cover ,mats ,bed mats etc etc etc:)lol

I hope they are worth the wait. I got in under the wire so I'm going to be lucky to see mine. So be it. I'm not compromising my build to get it sooner. When it comes it comes.
I am waiting on the Ford Maverick for my wife, I just went thru the same thing waiting for My 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid. It got built and then was sitting on a lot in Dearborn MI. waiting on chips for over 6 months. When it did finally arrive it was the best feeling and I completely love the truck. I am a lot more patient waiting on this one as The experience turned out to be very positive in the end. It was worth the wait.

Emailed my salesman Friday (based on things learned here about such things) and asked him to bump me from the dreaded 'Priority 19' to something better, like a '10'.
Nothing back on Friday, but Saturday a reply came in: "you're now a 10". Lovely. Choked back the urge to ask "why should I have to ask?"
Clock started ticking on this order 9/21, hoping the Groundhog Day O/U is possible.

Priority 19 is the lowest priority level, asked your dealer to bump you up to at least priority 10

Better to rant online to fellow fans than yell at strangers on the street! Or even worse, the dealership...

I'm kind of amused, I'm stuck overseas until next fall anyway so I'm not impatient (yet). Might be a different story if I'm home and can't drive "carbon freeze" yet... :)

I ordered my Maverick Oct 4 (cyber orange/XLT/Fx4/moon roof) and since I live in Canada haven't heard anything at all. We don't get confirmation emails from Ford like you do in the US (when ordering or getting VIN#'s)....any one know why? I would have to keep bugging my salesman for info and will give him a little more time/space....especially since I already wished him a Merry Xmas...in October......
