yep ,Went to Lowes yesterday bought 3 sheets of 3/8" CDX plywood ,cdx is the cheapest grade ,you sitting down? $54 a sheet plus tax!!:) God forbid if hurricane season in Florida this late summer ramps up ..Freaking plywood will be $200 a sheet
I feel your pain. Been there and done that. Not just plyweed by a long shot. For a while there, 2x4 8 footer were $13 bucks a pop. I about had a fit over that one, LOL.

The only thing not fully addressed in the process is material constraints. During the dealership allocation process an order that dealership puts forward for selection can get passed over due to material shortages, think spray-in bed liner or Rapid Red paint. Therefore an older orders (June/July) can get passed over for a newer order because that order isn't requiring something on the current constraint list, which varies week to week. Your order can also be selected by Ford, given priority 2, but then for various reasons, not always explained either, your order can be rejected and sent back to the dealership to sit at priority 10 until the next round of scheduling.
This Forum is a great wealth of information.

How do dealers balance their Maverick allocations across retail orders (at MSRP) and stock orders (perhaps at $3k over MSRP)? For example, if the dealer has 100 Maverick retail orders and their website shows 10 Mavericks “in transit” with a price listed at $3k over MSRP what is their incentive to fulfil the retail orders when they make more money on the stock orders? Is there some allocation “balance” that Ford requires of dealers to make progress through the retail orders queue while allowing the dealers to sell some stock Mavericks?

What I know about dealershig ordering is that they place orders and when allocations are given they generally fill retail orders first and if there's any left over or retail orders that don’t what allocations are available then stock order is picked. Of course the integrity of the dealership depends on this actually happening. The problem as I see it, is that the way Ford is scheduling doesn't give much weight to older orders across the country as a whole. Since allocations are given out by regions and then down to dealers. What I find annoying is if in one region they have all their older orders already given build dates or the order doesn't fit into what allocations are available then a newer order or stock orders are picked, instead of looking at other regions to see if there's any older orders that could be picked. There's nothing more annoying than reading about a dealership with a stock order just like yours sitting on their lot for sell or someone with an October or November order getting a build while you're still waiting with a June or July (me) order! I'm happy for everyone that gets picked because they got lucky and that's one more Maverick on the road. My gripe is with Ford scheduling and tinfoil hat wearing method of selecting a build. Of course I'm probably getting my build date pushed farther down line each time I post on the forum about how screwed up Ford scheduling is. Thankfully, I hangout at the meme thread for laughs 😃!

MavTruck Club-I offer my apologies for going off the deep end last Thursday and Friday with the incessant complaining about Ford and the rollout of the Mav. I know there's orders before my July 7, and you call should be more upset than i am at this point! I did talk to my dealer Saturday and his response was "Ford will get to everyone's order at the dealership at some point; this is SOP for any order i submit for customers orders. I'm always last and missing out on $. And Ford will never explain or help with the issue."

I was really fed up last Thursday when my build didn't get schedule and needed to vent. So apologies to all for taking away time from looking at people's delivered Mavs or discussing how amazing this little truck is going be.

Promise to be on my best behavior Thursday...
I accept your apology and understand your frustration. I ordered my Mav in June and I also feel the same as yourself. There is not anyone on this forum that has been satisfied with the way things are being done to our orders. So you are not alone welcome to the club.

Dealers have a larger hand in this than most think. My dealer claims they have taken a thousand orders and ALL their orders are priority 19???? If you have been in this system long enough you will realize that what comes out of the Ford mouth is entirely different from that which cometh out of the Dealer mouth. Eventually you understand you can't trust any of it and the only way to deal with it is to wait as long as you can - or not.

Thanks for the information on how Fords are selected each week. At the three week mark now since my order was placed
How would you feel at 5 months and not scheduled?

I can tell you how I feel at 4 months of total silence. I'm trying to buy a SC, but I doubt I'll succeed because of the outrageous Hyundai price-gouging that's going on right now. That's why I haven't canceled my MAV order.

I hope I'm saying this correctly. Priority 10-19 are retail orders. Anything over 19 are stock orders. Over 19 you don't want as that is not going to be scheduled until all retail orders are built. Supposedly, if your order moves up to 2 you can't make changes to your order as Ford is close to scheduling your vehicle for production. If I gave you incorrect info I'm sure someone will correct it.
Ford told me no changes after VIN is assigned, got an email when that happened and it changed to Scheduled on tracker.
