It goes to those whose orders couldn't be fulfilled It's basically for those that were cancelled and converted to a '23 from a '23. Mine was almost $3000.

Is this a discount off the '23 price to honor the '22 price? or is it an "inconvenience discount"?

It comes in the form of a rebate on a 2023 Maverick purchase to make up for the price change from 2022 to 2023. It was given to those who had a valid order for a 2022 Maverick that did not get built. Orders that were rolled over in September, as well as orders that had VINs and were cancelled and reordered by Ford on 11/14/22. If the original 2022 order was an Ecoboost, the PO was $1750. If it was a Hybrid, it is $2750.

My initial order was placed at a big Ford dealership in east Sacramento area on 11/15/2021. When the 2023 orders were opened I rushed down to this dealership only to be told that my order was in preview and therefore no new order would be placed for me even though I told them I had already received the PO certificate from Ford.
Realizing the order was closing I went back to this less than honorable dealership and insisted they place an order again for me.

ordered 10/21/21; 2022 VIN cancelled after 14 reschedules; new 2023 now in production; now own Santa Cruz but will buy the Mav to keep it away from the dealer selling then sell it myself

Ordered 11/11/21 hybrid, lariat, luxury package and CoPilot360. Rolled to MY23 in September 2022. Received email yesterday w/VIN # and production scheduled for week of February 27. Hoping for the best, will see.

I ordered 10/18/21, was rescheduled so many times I lost track, and just logged in to check today because I was to be scheduled for my build next week and it says I'm finally in production! I'm so happy, but I don't want to get too happy because well, until it is in my possession I have learned from reading everyones stories here that anything could happen. I do have faith in my dealership that they're trustworthy though. so fingers crossed my build goes smooth. I feel for everyone that's still waiting for anything to happen with your order. This process has been absolutely shitty, and as a small business owner it has made me feel damn good about my shops customer service skills.

Ordered an XL Hybrid w/ hitch receiver on 21 Oct 21 and received confirmation on 25 Oct 21.

Received VIN on 27 Aug 22. MY22 VIN cancelled and received MY23 VIN 1 Dec 22.

I've had a build week of 9 Jan 23 since I received my VIN. Called Ford Marketing 4 Jan 23 to make sure nothing had changed (stopped receiving emails last year). Was told my truck was in production with a build date of 10 Jan 23 and had an expected delivery of 30 Jan to 5 Feb 23.

Went to tracker the next day and still only showed confirmed. Checked in with chat the next day and was then told that my build week changed to 16 Jan 23 with no build date or delivery time frame.

This will be my 10th build week and the second build date that has been cancelled. Wanted to call Marketing again, but they are only phone drones and can only parrot back to you what their computer screen tells them.

Will go back to the dealer today and check (again) that my email is correctly entered into the system and see if maybe I will start getting emails from Ford again.

My truck is built and waiting final inspection. Estimated delivery date 10 - 15 February. Yay!

Hybrid XL ordered 9/16/21. Past week got in production on Ford tracker and also window sticker. 360, drop-in liner, carpeted floor mats, trailer hitch, splash guards. Iconic silver. Est delivery 2/20/23 (hopefully)

My Oct 23/21 order - Hybrid lux was finally built fist week of January and is now waiting for delivery. When I contacted Ford, they said estimated delivery of March 5th. I’m located out in Canada, BC and this seems like a long wait for delivery.
