Anyone else having problems trying to order a Maverick XL?

Have you been able to change any submitted XLs to Atlas Blue?

I haven't tried that...but doubt it will work at this time. I wouldn't risk messing them up at this point.... I'll wait until the issue is fixed and then change color.

I just really wish that the "error" message would have given us a hint at what was actually rather than saying there was a "pricing error".

If it weren't for your other posts I'd probably have been screwed. My dealer had already said they couldn't submit my Atlas Blue XL Hybrid due to a "pricing error" that they "hoped" would be resolved before the order banks closed. I happened to see your post, got with them right away, and it was submitted and approved immediately.

So props to you!

Glad it worked out! I didn't discover it myself....but made sure to post it so it would hopefully help others. Especially since the ordering window will be so short. It would really suck if someone missed out on a 23 order because of a stupid color error like this!

Actually we can all give thanks to Dan Willis at Long Lewis Ford in Alabama.

I did start the first thread about that this am, but after 110 views and no responses or “hey me too” I didn’t feel the need to bring it forth. I’m all for helping the next guy but I’m wasnt gonna do the leg work and jeopardize my chance of getting an confirmed order.

I was at my Dealer when the banks opened Thursday afternoon. Of course the system was down instantly so I was told to come back after work Friday. I went back yesterday after work and the GM and my salesperson had left at noon. Nobody else there could put the order in, so I left my price sheet with my options highlighted with them to leave on the GM’s desk. With all the talk of closing orders next week im worried mine won’t go through in time. If I miss it again this time I think Im moving in to something else. Can’t afford to pay markup on dealer stock

This same thing just happened to me at dealership. Few salesman and mine on vacation. They say they rolled the order over without my signature. I told them Ford has not sent confirmation e-mail yet, which I do not expect.
They could not or would not show me the order nor the private offer and wait till Tuesday when they say my sales person will be back. THEY BLAME FORD for everythIng. They said they did not know about private offer amounts then said I have it. Asked how I knew of it. Of course thanks to MTC.
I think I'm being scammed. Sales manager did not identity himself when he started talking over my 1st contact person then when called him out he got defensive.
It all is blowing up for FOMOCO IMO. @fordvideoguy

Seems like it doesn't work for XL Hybrid and EcoBoost.

For a few years myself. My father has been doing it for like 30+ years. The short supply now is just crazy! Less than a week has to be a record!

She liked mine and my brothers so much. She wants one of her own.

Hope they fix the issue. I think she has her heart set on Atlas Blue.

She's waiting to hear back from them now. To see, if she needs to change the color for it to process. Then have them change it back to Atlas Blue. Once Ford has the system working properly.
