Hard enough picking out the drivetrain and all the equipment/color options. But, has anybody been thinking of a name for your Maverick? Asking for a friend.

My first truck was a 1972 F150, red 360 V8. She was known as 'Old Red'. Since I ordered the Maverick in Pepper red I think i will name it 'Pepper', but definitely not 'Rusty'.

Great choice! Pepper is my current front runner for when mine gets made, and I like vehicle names that you can cut down to one syllable (Pep!).

All of my current preferences play off the color being Hot Pepper Red. I've always been partial to female names for my vehicles, but this might be my first vehicle where I buck that trend as "Frank" sounds great for a pickup and a play on/homage to Frank's Hot Sauce. I also like Belle (bell pepper) and Crystal (hot sauce).

I fully support anthropomorphizing your vehicles. Especially if you're the kind of person that buys a vehicle new and keeps it for 7+ years. That's a relationship and they deserve a name!
