My friends at work keep calling my Maverick that I have not seen yet since ordering last december the "silver buffalo" I may go with that. It's a twist on the indian lore about the mythical "white buffalo" that nobodies ever seen. Years ago my wife had a 4x4 1999 Chevy Suburban. I hated that thing. I named it "Mr. Bourbon. Damn thing never passed a gas station without needing fuel. He was a heavy drinker.

I've never been in the habit of naming my vehicles. I figure the name stamped on the tailgate is good enough for me. BUT....if I were so inclined, I would probably call mine "Julius". You know....'cause it's orange.

I was going to call my Iconic Silver Hybrid Lariat Flint Gray Ghost (FGG), Flint for short. But as of this morning I changed my ordered color to HPR. I've already come up with a new name for it which I'll reveal once I actually take delivery.
