Any Scheduling This Week?

I know our prior source of information no longer has access to the schedule, but I know we have a few dealers that lurk on here. I was curious if there was any plan by Ford to do any Maverick scheduling this week or if they will take the next couple weeks off since they seem to be stacked through Christmas. Even a simple "no" would let people know to not bother checking.

FWIW, I expect to get my 45-day email tonight since I didn't get my confirmation email until a week after my order was accepted.

Just as an fyi, I got my 45 day email on the Maverick 45 days after ordering with confirmation email the same day. I ordered a Bronco Sport 5 days later but didn't get confirmation email for 5 days after I ordered. My 45 day email on the Bronco came 45 days after the day I ordered not from the day the confirmation email was sent. Maybe you not getting your 45 day email yet is a good sign.

See, I have seen conflicting information on this. I was under the impression Ford sends you an email every 45 days. Since I technically heard from them 44.5 days ago, I should get one tonight. That seems to be what I have seen others experience as well.

If I don't have an email by tomorrow, I do plan to investigate.

I have not caught up since early yesterday, but I know folks in the "Remaining EcoBoost tracking" thread were seeing trucks ship yesterday or over the weekend. Statuses were changing in the tracker from "In Production" to "Built", etc... Not the same as scheduling or actual production, but still some activity in Mexico this week.

I just checked and my 45 day email came 46 days after my confirmation email.

At this point I don't think there's much rhyme or reason on anything Ford does. Nothing procedural seems set in stone. I hope you don't get one and instead get a scheduled email in a couple days.

I like your optimism.

But really, I'm just curious if Ford plans to do any scheduling for those that know they haven't been already.

If the Bronco scheduling is any example to follow, they do scheduling every fourth Thursday. So since the first round of MY23 scheduling was on 10/20/22, I'd expect the next round to be on 11/17/22.

Does anyone know what clean up scheduling is? I would assume a paired down amount of vehicles scheduled.

Scheduling any remaining slots that were not filled earlier in the month. Basically a second sweep of all the dealerships where they use the computer algorithms to see if any dealer still has allocations for the month that were not used, and if so, are there any orders at that dealer that could be built. I don't know if they do this anymore, but FordVideoGuy mentioned a few months back that sometimes they even reassign allocations if needed. For example if Dealer A still has 10 Maverick allocations for the month but doesnt have any orders that can be built. They could reallocate those 10 and give them to another dealership, since there is room in the production schedule to build more Mavericks. Then they rinse and repeat the following month.

On a whim, I checked my Ford account and, for some reason, I was again set to not receive emails from them. I know I didn't change that setting so who knows who it got changed. So, a five minute visit to chat confirmed I am still unscheduled, as suspected.

I'll see if one still comes this evening, but at least I know for certain now.

I think that was for last year. That one caught me out when I first saw it.
