Well mine is a ‘22 and they’re surprisingly difficult to find on lots around here. Those that are are usually marked up 3-4k. I like the truck, so that’s what really matters IMO. I like the looks of both the 5th and 6th gen. What really sold me was the cactus gray lol.
I'm assuming for the first question you meant Ranger, since that's the proverbial bird in the hand. I actually went and test drove a stupidly marked up Maverick at a local dealer before committing to the Ranger. Really liked it, but I wrote a big list of pros and cons for each car and the...
Well I've got myself in a bit of a nice-to-have pickle. I ordered my Mav on 9/16 with no hopes of getting a build date until at least late summer. So a few weeks ago I test drove, fell in love with, and bought this Ranger (and got a steal on it, 2.5k under MSRP):
I had it on my to-do list...
So I have a first gen Escape Hybrid and can speak to the hybrid battery and the "NYC taxi" example (which, if you go on Escape forums, people like to hilariously argue about). They are insanely reliable cars (Mazda ICE, Aisin eCVT) but the battery is the achilles heal of their longevity on the...
The video says rollover deals, which I interpret as no private offers/price protection. I would assume they'll still roll reservations over and at least keep your spot in line.
If I were to wager I'd say the battery. Yes, Ford makes their own batteries, but the majority of the Lithium/Cobalt in those batteries comes from a handful of mines in Africa which are largely controlled by China.
Here's a good video about it. I'm not entirely sure if this is 100%...
Possibly. There are very few hits for code 27 when you google (lots of stuff from old Mustangs), but one thing I found said it's Washington DC, which makes sense given I'm 30 miles northwest of DC (as the crow flies I'm 1 mile from MD).
I voted no, but I might consider it if I'm not scheduled by late spring/early summer. I do a good bit of stop and go driving so the hybrid would be best for me.
Nice, congrats. Looks like you struck a unicorn given your options and priority code. I have basically the same exact build and a PC10. I hope to be scheduled before next June lol.
Fingers crossed for everybody here. I'm trying to figure out which allocation region I'm in...sales code starts with 27 which isn't listed in the region thread I found.
Can you please clarify what “scheduling as listed here” means? Is this referring to a specific region getting scheduled this go round, and KC is not part of it? I read every post in this thread and didn’t see any specific region mentioned for this weeks scheduling.
Hope to see some mid Atlantic scheduling. Haven’t really seen people in the DMV/Philly area get scheduled.
I emailed my dealer today asking he remove the tow hitch and add the XLT Lux package (since they seem to have capacity for it and I would really like it). Hope that wasn’t a mistake...
There hasn't been any information or rumors on whether Ford will actually allow this switch, but I would also consider it. Part of the appeal to me is the hybrid mpg, but I'd also like to have a car...
