I would just change the oil at the same time you always do. if thats 5K or 7k or 10k I would do the same. I don't want to get into how many miles.Just what ever you would normally on a plain gas car.I have seen many post replys say something like: "Since the 2.5 hybrid engine is not running when the truck is in electric mode, the miles on the engine is< the odometer miles; and therefore you do not need to change the oil so often" . That seems to be logical; but the hybrid engine is constantly stopping and starting (even at stop lights). Don't think these are cold starts for the most part; but is that an issue ,or am I overthinking ? Comments/ your thoughts?
