Seriously, glad you’re ok. Vehicles can be replaced…people are more precious. As a side note, my wife and I were on our way to a family get together yesterday, when we found ourselves stopped at a light by a rural Ford dealership. Right there on the lot, along with several other Mavericks, was a pair of Velo Blue ones identical to ours.

If the truck was towed and is on the towing company lot you can usually get with the insurance guy to remove anything you want before he put a price on it. My brother had and issue a while back and the guy that came out said "Get it now or it's gone."
Glad to hear everyone is in one piece and not in the hospital.

So what size vehicle hit you and how hard ? Just curious.

Welp my 24 Maverick awd 4k bap 12k miles is done for, rearended on the highway on the way to the packers game. hopefully I can get the aftermarket parts off of it before the insurance takes ownership of the truck.

I have the front and rear dash cam video but it won't let me uploaded it here, says it's not a video as expected

I'm Sorry to see this happen. I'm glad that everybody is relatively okay.
Great camera system. I know it will not lessen the damage that happened. It will sure answer a lot of questions that will arise in the investigation.
What camera system did you have?

It looked like the driver behind you was paying attention and had enough time to Swerve out of the way. I feel the driver behind him was tailgating. Thus not leaving enough reaction time.

My friend suggeted it and it worked as expected, it automatically "locks" the video in it's own file folder when it senses an "event" which made it easy to download the correct video, the UI is not the easiest to get the wifi on to download the videos, but I think it was a good purchase

Yes we did, the orange equinox is our friends car they drove the rest of the way up there and back, one silver lining we only had to find one parking spot instead of 2

Welllll the driver isn't the owner of the car, the owner is "incarcerated" in the county jail, but my insurance rep. found the owner has an accout with the same company as me, but wasn't sure if it was up to date yet so time will tell.

My insurance says the vehicle is insured not the driver and will pay. Then the insurance Co will sue the driver to get their $$$$ back. (May vary by state???)
