Just noticed this the other day. Searched the forums pretty deeply but couldn't find this exact issue. If it's there and you know, please put a link up and I will gladly read it.

Also, not complaining. I bought a brand new model, I knew what I was getting in to.

Have noticed on strong acceleration quite a bit of shuddering/bounciness in the wheel and the pedal. Once I level off at 60MPH plus, it has gone away. Really can't wait to see if it happens at higher speeds and sticks as I use my truck for work and drive an S ton of miles around Texas.

Anyone know anything on this or can give me any suggestions?

This sounds different than the shuddering many of us are talking about going from ice to electric, or sitting at a stop when truck is warming up. Sounds more like an alignment issue or something? Or maybe one of the ones with some sort of axle problem? I’d take in to the dealer and hopefully they can diagnose it!

I had that exact thing in a vehicle once, brand new CRV, turned out to be the tires. Dealer put on a brand new set, problem solved.

Thank you both.

Problem is I noticed it a few days ago. Because MFG's put crap soft tires on, I had to replace mine today at 26K despite 3 rotations and balancing. Alas, the problem is there.

I wonder if that axle angle isn't correct. But if so, it should not level out at higher speeds or lower acceleration. (If I have a clue that is.) I will monitor it. Out of town until Thursday night so nothing till the weekend.

Still there upon acceleration, especially heavy acceleration. Going to have to have it looked at but that means either planning on not having a car (salesguys can't do that) or scheduling a loaner (good luck)..... Let's see what happens.
Thanks again for the input.

Did this start right after the new tires installed. Not clear in how you wrote that.

I have noticed a touch of torque steer on my hybrid when punching it.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't torque steer where it pulls to one side or the other? (Many years of driving FWD, that's my recollection.)

This is shuddering/shaking you can feel in the pedal, on the floorboard but not really on the steering wheel.

I vaguely remember in a post someone claimed they had an issue (I don't remember exactly what) that in hard acceleration they would let up on pedal and then resume and (I think) that cured their problem at least as I recall.
ALSO: In a John Kelly Weber State video he mentioned the transaxle has a "resolver" which apparently provides critical timing monitoring/syncing of electric motors.
ALSO: With floorboard shaking I would be tempted to replace the roll restrictor and the motor mounts in case they are damaged. Maybe you can find a roll restrictor with greater maximum restriction force in case restrictor is bottoming out and the sudden bottoming is causing the damper springs to also "rattle".

You don't know who you are advising. (Although I appreciate it.)

When I got to "transaxle" my mind kind of locked in this cloudy abyss of confusion, want for an engineer brain, not understanding a whit about what you mean in that 3rd paragraph but love it ........salesguy who tries to learn.

I have not a clue what you are talking about! :)

You have to ease into the throttle when accelerating. Jamming on the gas will definitely cause a shutter during the transition from battery to gas engine.
