Hey guys, I know most on this site don't care, but for the few that do, tonight I ran a 12.99@105mph, and backed it up with a 12.96@105mph. This was with incredible DA of -2000!!!! It was also a hail mary kind of run, with weight reduction. But, this was done on 93 octane!!!

My E30 tune will be in early next week!

Full weight best run is 13.28@103mph. So it all falls in line.

Thanks for looking,

John

Backed it up with a couple more runs. Narrowly taking the title for fastest Mav! 12.91@106mph! Ivan and myself have so damn quick Mav's!!! Also why I named mine QuickRik, lol.

Another 12.96, followed by the 12.91.

You guys are getting into Mustang GT territory. I wonder if these trucks could humiliate a Camaro SS on a autocross with AWD?

I think I have had my Hybrid Maverick up to 85 passing once. It feels pretty peppy but not like the OP's, I am sure.

Back in the day, 1977, at a local 1/4 mile drag strip I turned 11.2 at 132mph with my dad's hobby racer 68 Mustang fastback with 427 tunnel port engine, 4 speed, locked spool big slicks. What a rush, never been faster than that. He told me he had about 3500 in the car at that time.

Crazy!! I remember dropping the exhaust to save weight to run mid 13s in my 65 falcon. With 4:11s topping out just over 100 mph

These times are unreal back in the day I had a 69 dart swinger 340 cu. 4 speed 389 limit slip with just a few add on hooker headers , high rise , cub kit ect and I could only get in the high 12s around 107 mph how times have changed 🤔
I had a 72 Duster with the 340. Still miss the sound of the 4 barrel carb opening up! Hard to believe that a 4 cyl Mav Truck could run with it but yeah these times are awesome!! All I really care about now is how fast mine gets up to 60!

I've been to around 170 MPH at about 100 feet off the trees..I miss flying helicopters. :)
After about 4 months in Vietnam on foot not even seeing a wheeled vehicle I got to ride in one doing that but I think we flew between some of trees. They know you are somewhere but when they see where to shoot you are gone before trigger can be pulled 🥰!

This alone makes me want to switch my order to an EB. But I would go broke quick once I start going faster.
I had an 85GT 5 speed with a high revving 306 and AFR heads. I could drive to the track swap tires and run 11.71@116. I remember the first time I ran 12.90 in that same car in the mid 90’s, that definitely was a great feeling.

I don't have an exact weight, but the seats are about 85-90#, cat back was about 30, and tailgate was about 55-60#, guessing....

My intercooler is 25# heavier than stock.
