Ambient lighting keeps disabling itself

My Hybrid XLT lux does the same thing, seems every time I look for the light it’s off and I need to re-enable it...

The Maverick order guide and brochure says only Lariat have ambient lighting in cab. If that is true, than why does XLT have ambient lighting too?

I have a base XL and it has ambient lighting in the cubby under the climate control only. There’s a thread that addresses ambient lighting and while I can’t speak from personally seeing it, the lariat has much more.

I can't find the Ambient Lighting setting on the lighting settings menu. Manual is very clear on how to do it, but the menu selection is just not there.

Mine does this too.

Keeps randomly turning on the damed "system wifi" too, so have to turn that off pretty constantly.

XLT Lux, CP360, EB FWD.

The good news is that after 20k in a few weeks shy of six months, I have no mechanical problems. It's not been to the dealer since I drove it out of there.

Flaky electronics I can live with. Actually I expect flaky electronics. You think this is bad, try just about every european car made since about 2003.

Looks like I am a lucky one as well, no issues for mine has been on since I took delivery in early November.

I have the ambient lighting for the phone cubby below the HVAC controls turned on, but 3 or 4 times since getting my Mav, I've randomly discovered that it's turned off. I go back into the lighting settings and turn it back on, then some time later it's randomly off again. Anybody else having this issue?

Experiencing same issue with 22 XLT Hybrid. It's random.

I have ambient lighting? Huh. I've never seen it.

I checked the settings screens and couldn't find anything regarding ambient lighting. It's more aggravating knowing it's there and I can't figure out how to turn it on than if I didn't have it at all.
The manual says on the touchscreen, go to settings, vehicle settings and then ambient lighting. That's not an option on my screen. The only items displayed on the menu are for the camera and the keypad on the door. I'm perplexed.
