Taillight keeps popping out

Anyone else having this issue? The passenger taillight, you can pop it back into place but it will pop back out at some point. Not sure if maybe those clips are bad or what. I plan to have it looked at when I take it in for the first time soon.

Sounds counterintuitive.. but what I did was loosen the screws just a whee bit. When they are over-tightened, they put tension on those weak clips. Backing out the screws a little relieves that tension. At least that's what worked for me.

I had this issue with the drivers side. Took it Ford two times, the last time they had for 2 days and sent the truck to a body shop they got it fixed. Guess there just enough misalignment to pop it out. Has stayed put now.

I had this exact same thing happen to me. I took it to the dealership and they fixed it they said the wrong clips were used during assembly. .

I had the same issue. I tried many fixes, none worked long term. Finally had the dealer replace the plastic clips under warranty. No problems since.

There is a pin at the top of the light fixture that goes into a slotted hole in a flimsy tab on the fender. If it's missing the hole and pushing against the tab it will try to spring the front edge of the light out.

You can check this pin/tab/hole alignment by looking into the small gap between the top of the light and the fender, looking in from the side using a flashlight, should be easy to see with the light popped out like yours.

Here are pictures showing the tab and pin I'm referring to. The pictures I found show the right side fender and a left side tail light, but you can get the idea.
