Exactly what does pulling the #11 fuse disable?
The TCU. The communications unit that prepares and sends report to Ford, etc. who knows exactly what it's doing in middle of night possibly something stupid like checking to see if it can find a connection when the connection is unavailable when truck is off. Could be a solid state switch that leaks current when it's 99% off instead of 100% off. Pulling #11 apparently turns off most if not all the overnight draw. Still would not cure the battery being totally charged but would extend the time before battery gets too low.

Stops Ford from spying on you is the big thing, since it is constant and drains the battery easily. Even when the truck was new we ran into issues like all the lights not coming on inside and out, let alone the deep sleep issues. Ever since I pulled that fuse we have had a normal truck - all lights come on, no deep sleep messages, and the truck starts up every time, even if it hasn't been driven for a few days.

Does it disable using the FordPass app for remote start and door locks?

Yes, but we don't use either. Everything else we do with the truck seems to work as it did before I pulled the fuse.

I added the Ford Perimeter plus with the remote start so I can remote start with my key fob and my Mav has the factory keypad on the door so I really can live without the app.

Then I assume with fuse 11 pulled I can't track where my MAV is when a family member is driving it or God forbid it go stolen and I can't track where it is. Seems that kills some very useful features for owners being shut down for the sake of trying to keep their battery charged enough to start the truck. IMO there is No Excuse for Ford not having these issues resolved my know. Ford is pathetic on many issues. Weak ass 12v flood battery. Ford get of you ass and do a recall to put a larger AGM battery in these trucks. Stupid for owners to have to buy batters chargers, booster and tinders for a brand new vehicle. Insane
