If the XLT model luxury package included the adjustable headrests included with the Lariat, I would have added it. I preferred the XLT cloth upholstery, so the Lariat was not an option. Do the adjustable headrests in the Lariat come farther forward than the non-adjustable ones?
I like to get support behind the back of the head, not the neck and can achieve it with the driver's seat pretty upright but not with the seat partly reclined. Most cushions for car headrests provide neck support which is not what I'm looking for. Has anyone found a headrest solution for more driver comfort? Or, perhaps everyone else has better posture and the XLT headrests are just perfect as they are.
In my last truck, I just added a stretchable headrest cover and added 1" foam rubber under it.
