On another odd behavior from the wipers, when using the intermittent mode, mine take the swipe, then returns to a resting position for a fraction of second, them moves down again an inch or so. Not to the park position, but a bit higher.

ANyone else seen that double-action at the end of the a sweep?

I looked closely at your photo, and your wiper seems to be sitting above its parked position...I think that I can see your indication spot below your wiper.

Here is a pic of my wiper in its proper position.

Be careful if you decide to pull your wiper off (to reposition), as I have read here that a special puller is needed!

Cheers,

Andy

Good eye!
After your comment I could see it too.

Now - can you see the driver side mark?

If it's on the mark at rest, but passenger isn't - dealership has a bit of movement to fix.

I've had both rest a tad high, and rest a tad low before.

And unrelated to me moving them for service position, but after some usage, it seems to glitch sometimes.

Good day @HeyBales

Here is my driver's side windshield wiper mark, it is quite easy to see and get a photo of. My wipers are sited closely to their respective marker dots.

As long as mine aren't way out of whack (striking on something if dropping to low during their cleaning stroke, would do it for me), I am happy with their location.

After contemplating it for a very short time, it is my thought that the wipers' exact position upon stopping can depend on the wetness/lubricity of the new wiper as well as the windshield.

If the wiper is older or the windshield has not been cleaned in recent memory, resistance could increase resulting a slightly raised wiper stop point...or if a new wiper that is of a slipperier compound, that would slide over a well cleaned windshield more easily and possibly ride a bit lower then the indicator dots.

This is all pure conjecture, but it sounds pretty good! 😉

If they needed serious adjustment I would get it taken care of during one of my summer/winter tire changes, oil change appointments etc as my 2025 has lots of warranty remaining!

Have a good one,

Andy

Oh - I meant can you see it in the OP picture where you saw the passenger one too high?
We all better be able to see the one on our own truck.
Yours really nailed it though.
Good theory.

Wanted to see just how good your eyes are.

This is how my passenger wiper is in the off position. It's been like that since I got it and the other day I turned off my wipers and it went down several more inch's and stopped. Now it's back to this position. Which correct.
