a few thumping sounds from awd rear

thumping starts from park and start backing up, thump,thump,thump, or when im at a stop and go forward, just started. only has 9,117 miles. Any ideas of what it could be?

Model year of Maverick? Is it AWD, lifted, lowered etc. Could be CV axles front if only FWD. Front or rear if AWD. Sounds like it's in the drivetrain. Maybe a dragging brake?

2022 2.0 awd xlt tow package off road package, seems to only do it when setting a day or so

I finally found out where Ford gets their Maverick axles from.

took to dealer,they said oil was contaminated, covered under warranty, happy it was an easy fix, flush and refill
