It would be nice to get a solid idea of what the swap entails, and what electronic spells need cast if any. Would be sick for someone like Ford Perfomance to offer a diff upgrade and 2 inch lift kit. Dealer installed.

I like to upgrade the rear end on a 2022 Maverick
I was thinking of something similar but not quite. I know they make auto lockers, for the newer Subaru Outback’s. Who knows if they will do something for the Mav/Bronco Sport. I think it’s like a better version of a G80 or a limited slip in some ways.

I bet these things will be coming for the next/future model years. Can't wait to see what people come up with in the meantime

I don't think a rear locking rear differential is going to give you what you think it will. Even the all-wheel drive is primarily a front wheel drive vehicle which has the ability to transfer power to the rear wheels by engaging a couple of clutches. An add the locking red differential I don't know if you really gain that much.

I think it will help keep momentum up. I have seen a few videos where they have hit an obstacle that should have been done in low range but just wasnt available. And the delay it took for one rear tire to spin enough to engage its brakes to make the other one spin, was enough time to lose momentum. Then they just tried again and made it with more throttle. Theoretically a traction aid in the rear that doesnt have to wait for the brakes can keep both tires pulling at the same time.

I found several BS Badlands on Copart. The downside is you would have to buy the whole vehicle. Of course that could be the upside sa well, in case you need the harness or the control module for rhe rear-end... it may just be the ecu, but I haven't looked into this that much.
