Is it better to use 93 gasoline with Ethanol or 89 without? I noticed that Wawa has these two. The Maverick manual recommended 91.

I would think 93 if your looking for the octane rating for an ecoboost. But if I had a vehicle that called for regular gas non ethanol is better. Good that you have that choice. In NJ all of it has ethanol.

I have a small engine repair gas station near me. That has no ethanol on all 3 grades. I know a lot of gas stations 93 has no ethanol.

Your maverick will run fine on regular old 87 octane that has 10% ethanol in it. It will recommend higher octane if you are max towing due to the higher engine temperatures that may suffer knocking at full load. To answer your question, whichever is cheaper

Hybrid won't care as much about octane, but it will benefit from ethanol-free gas.. Benefit, but not pay for itself. It's about fewer stops at the gas station.

Unless you are towing 87 octane is fine. I run no ethanol and get better mileage out any of the gas with ethanol and you can get no ethanol in all the grades 87, 89, 91, and 93 Octance. Much healtheir for your engine to go no ethanol.

You will get better MPG with no ethanol for sure. BUT near me it cost way MORE for no ethanol fuel and is not worth the extra MPG you will get. For my lawn mower snow blower and gas generator I only use the non ethanol gas as the manuals say so. Ethanol tends to gum up carburetors which all use them on the mower, blower, and gen. In fact Biden just said 15 percent ethanol can now be used year round. In the past it could NOT. . Causes more smog but lowers cost of gas. He wouldn't want to drill for more oil to lower prices.

At the WAWA near me, 89 w/o ethanol costs about the and as 91 w/ ethanol. Too rich for my blood and my Mavs blood. My Hybrid only calls for 87 and 87 for me it is.
You must have an EB.

No Ethanol pays for itself when you don't have to drop off your vehicle for service cause ethanol gummed up or ate something and you need engine work done.

Good idea if using any octane non- ethanol, is to pour in a good fuel additive. Since originally designed for marine or small engine service, non-ethanol may not necessarily meet the minimum additive standards designed for otr operation.

I run 87+10%E in my two mowers and pressure washer. They sit w/ fuel in the tanks for 4-5 months during the winter. No issues in 10 years+. I believe that modern blends are much more stable than blends were 20 years ago.
