91 octane or non ethanol gas

I don't anticipate putting more than 3K miles a year on my future hybrid (build date 6/22). I will be adding a fuel stabilizer like Seafoam with either choice. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Don’t think you should worry about octane but a fuel stabilizer could help since it’s just sitting most of time. You’ll need a battery tender imo especially since your talking hybrid. I use a brand called Sta-bil in all my gas for lawn equipment

I use non E in my boat. Seems to be working for the last 10years through winter sits.

I usually use non-E for fuel that won't get used w/I 4 months or so. Stabilizer should also work, the hybrid will not benefit from higher octane.

Manual mentions to not use fuel additives containing certain things so you will have to compare ingredients in fine print. Or preferably determine that those items are specifically not included.

CMA requirement to help somewhat in preventing warranty denials. I intend to add something without tetramolyhonkindoodoo category. My standard I don't believe has anything but I have not verified the absences.

Since you drive so little I would go for the non ethanol fuel. Ethanol absorbs moisture and since your truck will sit a lot I say no ethanol fuel.

I only read 250 miles per month which is half a tank per month which is no longer than fuel being in the tank for two months which means no special efforts at all need to be taken.

I have a company vehicle, so I only use my personal one for errands and is driven every few days. These trips are also long enough to get the moisture out of the exhaust and recharge the battery. I guess the deep sleep is the only concern and If that happens I will not be happy.
