Ordered my kit yesterday. Going to add a USB charger to the inside of the top cubby (I have a similar phone mount tray in mine already as well). This should reduce the cables going up/down.
This should fit nicely and the back portion will go in the empty space that the side cubby currently is occupying.

Where did you buy this from (URL) and will it work on lower trim levels?

You must have been the only one to get it for 1200.00. Its now closer to 1800.00. Looks great.
The $1800 one is for vehicals that have sync 2. If you have sync 3 it's a bit less.

Its like 1500 now. A far cry from 1200 which was at the top but doable.

Hopefully at some point there will be an aftermarket option. Maybe from American Standard. I think their Sync will be much better and cheaper than Fords.

They're the typical Chinese covers off Amazon. The brand is TIEHESYT. I've used a couple of different brands before, but I found that these match the brown trim in my Lariat the best.

They're pretty comfortable. I was going to toss the headrest pillows that came with the seat covers, but I noticed they provided good lumbar support for my neck, especially on long trips.

With the help of Sam(OEMPLUS) I was able to install a 13” escape in mine. I first bought a knob overlay( black) the made a 3/4 spacer covered in black vinyl then centered monitor using the ⚠ .
Drilled 3 holes to mount the alignment pins in bottom frame then cut frame 1/8” at a time using dremmel to level screen. The tray still fits without cutting Sam will work with any piece meal kit you need as you can buy a monitor on eBay or Car Parts . Com and build your own

Agreed, I'd much rather have a Kenwood Excelon or Apline HU with AA wireless built HD Radio and more than anything ford offers.

Thanks for sharing. I wasn't aware this was an option. I'll wait for a sale and grab one. The screen is my biggest frustration with my Mav. And its a small complaint; I am very happy with this truck. $1200 to keep me happy and delay a $30k 'upgrade'.

Time to install start to finish?
Did you ever get one? I would be curious to know your experience.
