$500 Farm Bureau Cash Reward Rebate – My Experience

I've been having a hell of a time trying to get my $500 certificate. My dealership is claiming that it's on hold for whatever reason, and when I emailed the Farm Bureau customer support, they told me that I could not apply both 2022 price protection (which cut $500 from the 2023 price because they raised prices by $500 in February 2023) and my Farm Bureau rebate at the same time since I was not a Farm Bureau member at the time of ordering, but I am a member at the time of pickup in September 2023. Is this why that it's seemingly not going through, or am I being taken for a ride here on my rebate?

I printed my 2nd certificate last night (if that is what you are talking about).
Also, I joined Illinois FB well after ordering my 23 Mav. I had no problems getting/using the $500 off when I picked it up last May. I plan on using Cert #2 on my 23 Cyber Orange Hybrid when it is built and ready for pick up. Below is a copy of my cert that I printed last night. Have the dealer enter your certificate number into "Smart Vincent" and the discount should show up on your purchase invoice.

Since I actually own a farm in WI it never even occurred to me that anything could possibly ever be cheaper in IL ! Thats ok its a write off anyway and I get a great newsletter on Agriculture issues in WI.

I was surprised to see that myself, thanks for being a farmer! Another underappreciated but necessary to everyone's life occupation!!

I waited until I had a build date and then joined. I believe it was in March. The site worked flawlessly then. I can't speak for how it's working now. I went to www.ilfb.org
I did it on my PC, not my phone, if that makes any difference.

I‘ve since tried a couple browsers on Win, but same result. It seems like in the past there might have been a section ‘Don’t have a membership’ whereas now I only see member login or ‘Already a member’.

I got my truck this week and applied the Farm Bureau discount without any trouble. I joined the Illinois farm bureau for $20 and completed everything online. I didn't need to call anybody. Probably the easiest $480 I've ever made.

A lot of people who were not Farm Bureau members in 2022, ordered thier Maverick in September 2022, joined FB in 2023 and picked up their Maverick in 2023 have got both the $500 rebate and $500 price protection. Instead of email, try calling the number on the certificate. You can even apply for the rebate after purchase. But it still has to go though the dealer, you cannot apply directly to Ford or Farm Bureau.

It looks like it's directing you to myifb.org instead of ilfb.org. try the latter.

Has anyone been able to sign up online to the Illinois Farm Bureau recently?

Every link that I have tried to sign up from the different counties takes me to the same myifb.org webpage where I don't see an option to sign up to become a member.

The myifb.org webpage has a "Member Log In" on the left side and a "Create an Account" button on the right. When you click on "Create an Account" it takes you to the create a new account form but the first thing it asks for is your Farm Bureau Member number. Where do you pay and get the membership number from?

I just tried and was able to get into my account and access all my benefits (get certificates and such).
Then, I also tried to join, and got stuck in the loop like you guys describe above. Like the "choose a county" page (I am a member of Cook County) but I doesn't let you join. I would call and ask about joining. [email protected] or call 309-557-2689 I joined back in December and never had these problems. I hope you guys get through and join, it is a great deal for only $20.00

I believe they changed something recently, I had the same issue. I was able to complete the process and eventually get a cert using NV FB instead, same $. I updated a prior post with details, if helps anyone.

I ordered September 22, Joined Illinois FB early July 23, and took delivery mid September 2023, getting price protection. Dealer was not able to apply at time of purchase (I think due to operator error entering cert.). Have seen in from reliable sources (Ford Video Guy) and Ford FB 800# stating you can't get both. My dealer submitted a day or so after purchase and I got a $500 check in the mail 2 weeks later. I have seen some say it was rejected but dealer resubmitted and was approved. I think a lot depends on the dealers' willingness to try. If dealer is willing to try and you have at least a month or so before delivery it is worth $20 to try IMO.

Super helpful! I was wondering how long the certificate was good for and it sounds like I can go ahead and print it anytime now that I'm scheduled and not have to worry about it expiring. Did you finance through your dealer or on your own? I'm still wondering at what point I can show the dealer my certificate and get the final out the door amount that I'll need to get from my bank.

Check with dealer some apparently require certificate at time of order. Farm Bureau Membership is a "club" and you can get five certificates per year. need a John Deere mower or ?. Discount tickets for some events? Check it out. Could be worth it to just annually renew.

Applications for membership are formally approved at the next meeting of the board of directors usually monthly but could vary.
