People generally post when things go wrong so likely a very small number of hybrid issues exist and they are more likely related to manufacture not design.

Makes me worried about future reliability. Looks like this has happened to other people as well, waiting on the dealership to provide me with some details on what is wrong.
I had less miles than you did when i dumped mine.
It wasn't a bad vehicle, but it wasn't built well.
Between the panel rattles and the concern when every bolt, nut, or screw i touched was lose, i decided it wasn't worth the risk at 35K. At 19K i probably would have kept it, but at 35K there's better options out there.

I really think that if ford can correct the build quality issues, this could be a pretty good little vehicle, but, it's not worth the risk IMO at 35K and right now you can walk away without losing money, but in a year or two when the full flight of issues, recalls, and repairs show there head, only god knows what these will be worth..

Can you afford to eat 20K?
If the answer is yes, it's worth the risk, but if not, walk away..

6,000 miles no issues, excellent acceleration, between 47 and 52 mpg, comfortable, and runs great.

I took my Maverick 2.0 AWD FX4 27K miles into the Ford Dealership due to a clunking sound coming from underneath the truck.
I had to get a tech to ride with me to let them hear the sound. I had my RDU and PTU drained and filled at 20K to be safe.
They thought it was the RDU so they drained and refilled. It did not fix the issue. I dont know why they thought to do that since I had it done at 20K.
Its been seven days and no solution. I was told they need to bring in (Ford) To help troubleshoot the issue. Any words of advice?
