I went to start the car other day and found the check engine light on. I popped the hood and found all the coolant is gone (found some dripping at the front end, guessing a few hoses or something got loose but unsure). I have an appointment in for next week and waiting to tow it into dealer then to give me a rental. For now I'm driving a family members car for a bit.

I once had a 93 RX7 R1. Driving down the freeway one day the coolant light suddenly came on. I hit a gas station right there and refilled it, but I noticed it was just flowing through the engine and leaving a pool of coolant on the asphalt. Turns out a safety plug in the water pump had blown out.

One thing to be cautious of if you have pets - don't leave any spilled coolant on the concrete. Instant death for pets.

There had to be a pool of coolant on the ground before driving off.

Is the Hybrid coolant reservoir (behind the ICE coolant res.) also empty or is it OK? It's not visible in your photo.

There was a slight wet spot at the front end (in 2-3 spots). Front end being the engine. I didn't see anything on the back end.

Thankfully I wasn't driving when this happened.

Slight wet area on the front end on the concrete but that's about it. It could have leaked out slowly in the course of a day or two or something or leaked out as I drove back home from work and then the rest leaked out slowly while the car was parked for 2 days. Because when I got in it few days later it showed check engine light.

The rear reservoir has coolant in it with no issues it looks like.

Hi. I have sent you a message. Please let me know if you can help expedite things as I am without a car for a over a week+ because the dealer says they can't take it/give me a rental until next week. Please let me know. Thanks.
