Yet another Hybrid breakdown. I've noticed this has been the norm on Hybrids.
I have my hybrid since January with approx 3500k without issues until yesterday. Drove to a plaza and when I got out my key fob would not lock truck. Thought nothing of it. Came out 10 minutes later and no powe-nothing. Try to jump start it with portable 1000 amp unit-nothing . Towed to dealership. Anyone know if they have had this issue.
I wonder what percentage failure rate of the air bags and seat belts would be acceptable to FORD and Forum Members?
No, I got a quote and I am looking into trading it in. It is still being looked at by the ford dealership. The Toyota dealership offered 43k for a trade in, so I'm 99% sure I'll be taking that deal.
I am planning to drive 500 miles from my home…the thought of stalling while driving on I95 is terrifying …I will take the truck to the dealer to check out the harness it is the only way I will take this trip.
My inane posts. Very FunnyWhat percentage failure rate on your inane and misinformed posts is acceptable to you?
It's only meant to poke at people. Personally I could not give a crap what he does. I'm not walking away from my order.I love it when the haters all show up in these threads.
Seriously though, I still don't get why this needed to be a thread. If you are already getting rid of a vehicle you are unhappy about, then just do it. No need to report back. This would have been useful if looking for solutions, rather than just to rant. Otherwise it is just a look at me.
Actually, you're wrong. I normally don't post and I was very excited for my maverick. I loved it, when it worked. I got 42MPG, it was the perfect size for me and was an incredible bargain. But, this event was very dangerous and I thought it was something that people should hear. Not only this, but this is on top of several other issues I already had with the truck. It has been in the shop more hours than it has been on the road or in my garage. If I hadn't had so many issues, then I would keep it.It's only meant to poke at people. Doesn't qualify yet, we will see if it does later. It's been different issues each time. But this one was pretty catastrophic. Dealer is still digging through all of the electrical errors.Lemon law
Honestly Ford should really want that 1 back. Take it apart and see why it's got that many issues. Then dumpster it when done. Or sell it to somebody who will gut it out only using the body and glass and make a drag race car out of it.Doesn't qualify yet, we will see if it does later. It's been different issues each time.
