So going by display yes, though after a couple hundred miles it will drop down to 32-34.

Ecoboost nothing done to it, not even an oil change yet
Cheers

I recently took a trip from the Austin Texas area to Dallas Texas and clocked right at 200 miles. I was driving between 75 and 80 most of the way and got right at 35 mpg. On the way back traffic was heavier and I was going into a strong head wind... I still ended up around 31. My mav is EB with FWD. This is a great little trucks!

Highway driving keeping your speed down will do it.

Drive in the slow lane at the speed of the slow cars and trucks. Use eco mode, or just be vey gentle on the gas.

Part of it may be the tall gearing. I notice that at 70 mph, the engine is only turning about 2000 rpms.

I have 6000 mi on my 2.0 with 4k. I don't baby it and average 26.5 everyday and can get 31 on the highway. Guess its possible to get better mileage but I don't want to drive like grandma, use premium gas and have never used the eco mode. I no longer check my mileage and just fill it with 87. No complaints about my fuel consumption.

I have observed 40 MPG on a few trips with my 2WD EcoBoost on regular gas. I live in rural coastal Virginia, an area without hills and few traffic lights. I drive 55 MPH max, because our local hiway has radar traps set up about every 8 miles.

Over 4,181 miles I have averaged over 32 MPG.

I don't think mine is as fast as the tuned truck, but it goes faster than my wife wants me to drive. I am quite pleased.

By comparison, my Hybrid has averaged 42 MPG over 747 miles. And is nowhere near as quick.

The hybrid Maverick is not nearly as slow as some people seem to expect.

For example, for 0 to 60 MPH runs, TFL clocked it at 8.31 seconds and 8.07 seconds with no load (just a driver), and then 12.85 seconds with a 2,000 pound maximum load plus a driver.

I would love to get 39 MPG but I'm happy with 29 MPG. Especially after my 19 MPG Ranger. 470 miles pulling into the gas station 😁 I reset my counter every time I come into a gas station. Only package I didn't get was FX4.
