3000 watt Inverter

I am a dummy when it comes to electrics. I want to run a one and a half hp big giant box fan when I’m working in my storage unit. Can I use a 3 000 W inverter on my Maverick to power this fan while the engine is running?

I assume you mean , open the hood , attach the the inverter to the battery with clamps and plug the fan in .
One and a half horse is a lot of amps ...so sure , if the inverter can handle it , go for it . It will probably run your battery down pretty quick , so be prepared to run the Maverick motor a lot ...or continuously ....

Just my experience using inverters in the past for various reasons , but never used one that large .

You need a 2000 watt generator. No inverter hooked to your 12V battery will work.

Besides the little CPU fan that comes on sometimes, it is completely silent, and fume/maintenance/gas free. I charge mine at home on 110v. It also doubles as a UPS for my desktop computer while I'm not camping. While camping, I use in to run my BougeRV Compressor Cooler, charge my drone batteries, and I have even used it to run a 110v electric chainsaw

I think you mean less than 1 hour recharge time. Run time depends on how many watts you're pulling. It is 1,050 watt hours which means you can run something that pulls 100 watts for about 10 hours. It runs my little compressor refrigerator for about 3 days

NO.
This is how I power my 3kw Invertor in my Class A FR3 28DS.
Six LiFePO4 batteries installed with 4/0 AWG copper cables.

If you can get an inverter in there that big then that is definitely the best route. I was just saying that a power bank is better than a generator

I’m not sure the gauge, they shipped with the inverter. But they are really heavy and thick.

I currently do not have it installed in the truck; I use it only when needed (power outage, etc.).
The inverter is inside the box. Note under the hood. I circled where I have permanently screwed the ground onto the frame. The positive I take on and off as needed since it is always hot. The post that it connects to (although you can't see it), is indicated by the red arrow. It's under the red cap.

Is the inverter UL-certified?

UL-certified inverters currently fall under two certification codes: UL458 and UL1741.

NEC and UL 458, is for use in an RV with a neutral-ground bonding connection.

My Samlex EVO-3012 Inverter/Charger is both UL458 and UL1741 certified.
