Just ran test for two hours 1400 Watts all acc's off on truck battery stayed about12-14.4 volts Ice kicked in a few times but better than expected,Think I'm good to go!

Thanks. That is the kind of information we can use. I'm feeling real good about my 1000w pure sine wave inverter. Now all I need is a Maverick ;)

That's a good deal. I got a Renogy 1000w pure sine wave on sale for $167.
I liked that it had a remote control and output terminals in addition to the outlets. This way I can wire up my own outlets.

That is great news!! Could tell your mind was set! Your test exceeded limits on 100A DC to DC continued use stress. So we have to be wondering …. Just how much more :devilish::devilish: if we are in F150 device range…

Put everything away 2 large vaccum cleaners and a large fan,ha! Gonna do 2 small a/c units next week and see how it does with startup Watts both running,will make video,ha! Should I keep Ford warranty # on speed dial?

I am surprised the Mavericks DC to DC amp rating hasn’t leaked yet ( it’s being guarded likely for this reason )
On page 36 of the Modifier Guide posted above it shows a 300 amp connection to the charging system, so it may be a pretty big converter.

I am looking forward to your test results. Just be careful of the limitations of a modified sine wave inverter. We don't want you to damage any of your equipment.

It sounds like it handled 1400w without effort. You are right....how high can we go :devilish:

Oh Crap, 300amp connection is a whole new level of possibilities! Please forget my name … please don’t melt the aluminum truck body parts, that is beyond my level of DIY. 1400W would be heaven to me out camping.

I have the Hybrid and am looking into running a 1500W/3000W start Inverter directly to battery to run what I need when camping and on the road.Have seen many threads saying it will fry a standard alternator,Local Ford tech says "should be fine" for whatever thats worth.Thanks for advice in advance for thoughts and Ideas.
Yeah, it would be nice to run some power tools, ect, in the bed. 400w is a little shy of really useful.

Be careful in picking your inverter as most are junk and sometimes bad junk as in fire hazards.
