Morning! I have a 24 on order hybrid XLT lux, copilot 360. I was made aware that a local dealer has a 23 on the lot at about $3600 cheaper MSRP. Same color, just missing copilot360 with some additional stuff added not on 24. My issue is I have 6 remaining payments on my F150 lease that totals around $2k. Working with dealer trying to get them to buy the truck, but if they won’t would you roll the payments in and still come out ahead on the total cost on the 23 vs 24. Great credit, looking at around 7-8% for 72 months. Thanks!

As a safety feature, Co-Pilot might also save you some chunk of insurance in the long run to close that gap a bit.

If it were me I would wait on the 24. Taking the 23 means your a year into the depreciation. The 24's started rolling down the line yesterday.

I agree with GWGrace - depreciation is a factor now that they are building '24's, plus by waiting for your '24 you will owe less on that F150. Shop interest rates at a credit union before accepting dealer financing. In my area, auto loans at the CU are several percent lower than bank or dealer financing. Do your financing homework before you go to the dealer and pre-qualify at your CU.

Other things to consider: savings in gas mileage between now and delivery of your '24, possible difference in content between '23 and '24. IE: keypad, sliding rear window, etc.

I suggest you take the 23 with the savings of $3600 and extra items included. You probably could make money on it as currently it isn’t depreciating much if any.
