MY24 XLT with FWD EcoBoost, CP360, and tow hitch build got a $342.18 discount from MSRP. Doc limited to $100 with X plan so my total savings was $492.18 since dealer normally charges $250 for it. $500 Farmers bureau rebate beats this.
My savings will be close to $800. Depends on the configuration.

My dealership slapped a $230 doc fee; however, I told them the x-plan limits the doc fee to $100. He said that the $230 was the amount applicable to law. Not sure if it was bs but didn't think much of it at the time and just wanted the order in.
The $230 is the maximum (not minimum) allowed by law in your state. This is between your dealer and your state.

The $100 is the maximum allowed by the X-Plan. This is between your dealer and Ford.

Unfortunately I do not believe the dealers are required to honor the X-Plan.

I made sure that my dealer would honor the x-plan before I ordered.

I asked again about it but the sales rep was adamant about the doc fee, even when I showed the x-plan rules. Then again, as you say, they dont have to honor x-plan as it is voluntary. They claim they honor x-plan pricing but my dora and buyers order dont show x-plan pricing. The fordpartner website doesn't list the '24 Maverick nor its pricing. Only the '23 is listed so far.

Which dealer is playing these games with you?

Im not sure if they're playing games or there's misunderstanding.
You're in Michigan. They all know the rules, some just choose not to follow them. Time to name and shame them...

There is an option to print the discounts on the paperwork - I had to ask my rep a couple times before he had the GM show him how to do it. I think that was honestly not knowing, and learning. If you don't have anything except a guy's word that they will honor pricing, and he has already indicated to you that they really won't (doc fee), I think I might find another dealer. Otherwise I feel like you may be in for a surprise when the truck comes in. Something seems fishy. Just my opinion...

You are correct that the partner website is not updated yet, but the computers have the pricing in them. It will show at the bottom where it says discounts if the dealer opts to print it.

Next time I stop at the dealer I'll have to ask about it and have them print out a new one to reflect x-plan pricing. I noticed the order had my old color choice and will be switching to carbonized gray. I dont think i'll go to another dealer cause I would lose my carry over priority and private offer when it comes in.

I ran into a similar situation when I rolled my 22 over a 24. It takes a while for the new model years to populate the x-plan. Other than knowing what the savings is, it is not important.

Note: if your x-plan code is over a year old when you take delivery you will need to apply for a new code before you take delivery.

The potential problem I see from other posters is we don't have a fixed cost until we take delivery.

Some dealers play the mark up/add on game at delivery. If you are buying floor stock it is easy to say no and walk out the door. For those of us who have been waiting over a year for delivery, it is a hard pill to swallow.

I received a new order sheet and it reflects the x-plan pricing; however, I'm starting to notice that the X Plan price being listed on order sheet doesn't match the pricing formula (Dealer Invoice - (0.4% * Dealer Invoice) + $275).

Also, this dealer is likely to play the mark up/add on game. I see a few discrepancies on the buyer order sheet they gave me even before it's been scheduled. That is, a doc fee over the $100 x-plan limit and a bs add on.

I also noticed the computer calculation and my calculation were about $70 off. The order sheet from Ford is what is supposed to have the correct price, so I haven't pursued it further but would be curious to see how yours compares. My order sheet doesn't list doc fees or anything that doesn't come from Ford. Does yours look like the one I posted?

Here's the order sheet from the ford system. This one shows the x-plan pricing; however, they decided not to include 'INVOICE' tab next to the 'MSRP'. I should of asked for them to include it, but you can just cross reference pricing with the '24 price list (Price Level Code 415). The x-plan pricing listed on this sheet is $63 more than what the advertised formula states.

As for the others fees (doc, taxes, add-ons, etc.), that will be listed on your buyers order. Mine was printed up as a out the door total example that was signed.

Just re-ran my numbers and it's off by $74.14 with a slightly more expensive build. Interesting...
