Absolutely Don and I’m happy we won’t be seeing the beautiful eruption green mavericks on the lot for 2026👍
I thought at first that I hated they weren't doing the best color anymore (in case I ever wanted another) and then thought.............wait, this is actually kinda a good thing!

You get to choose the badges you want on your truck. Most are inexpensive on EBay.

Stopped at least in 2025 - mine does not have one, but I have not noticed a change in MPG's....

Just think of all the money Ford is saving not having to make and place those badges....
Maybe y'all can get cheaper registration by showing them "it obviously isn't a hybrid"!

Just personal opinion, too many badges clutter the rear design of the car. The less, the better. So really, it's an improvement. That's why I'm glad the FX4 doesn't have the tacky chrome "AWD" badge on the tailgate like my first one did.
I agree with you, but one thing I’m pretty sure Americans in general have forgotten is the concept that sometimes less can be more.

I was thinking about this general topic one time. Why even have trim badges on a vehicl? I mean, I know I have an XLT…why should I feel the need to let anyone else in traffic know? Platinum, Limited, etc…humans have some compelling need to let everyone else know where their vehicle stands in a made up hierarchy. It’s weird when you think about it.

It’s an awful burden called self importance.

‘Look at me, I drive an XLT’
Dammit man !
I’m a poet and don’t know it :’P

Personally I like the Tremor and FX badging.

The dumbest ones are when people upbadge their lower trims. Anyone who would know enough to be impressed* would also know enough to spot the inaccuracies.

I once saw a Type-R badge on the back of a Jetta. Who the fuck was THAT for?

*-not that anyone should be impressed by the trim of anyone else's car...

My wife fell In love with a Candy Red pony car.
Tan leather interior Badass stereo.
A real cream puff, I love that term, ha !

I made sure it was in our driveway before I brought home my new $2,400 hard tail mountain bike.
My momma didn’t raise no fool.

Guy next door comes home with a vette. His wife almost castrated him.

Dude two doors down buys a New Charger with a big ass gas hog motor.
He had to take a part time job to make the mortgage and the $600 a month car payment.

It was like a virus.

You’ll find other things that once was included e.g keypad for entry to the cabin 🤷🏼‍♂️🤪

I would like to join this club and add this badge to my eruption green 2025 Lariet. I have added an AWD badge but I haven’t found this one with both Hybrid and AWD.
Can you send me a link for the source or did you make it custom

The reason I like them is for resale and oil filters. When I sold my old Rangers, I could never remember whether they were an XL, XLT, Lariat, V-1, R13, Zorg-5150, or whatever the options were. :ROFLMAO:

When I go to buy an oil filter for my son's Corolla, I can look at the trunk and see it's an LE. Problem solved. Without that, I'm digging through the manual or entering the VIN online somewhere to see what it is. It's easier to look at the trunk.

Since there were no Maverick AWD Hybrids until the 25 MY, that's more likely.
$35 to $40 sounds pretty steep, but then Flea-Bay "bargains" sometimes aren't.
I imagine a junkyard badge could be acquired for considerably less.
It's not like it's a moving part...
