2026 hybrid Lariat MPG?

I own a 2024 Lariat hybrid FWD and as I expected, don’t need — or want — AWD, yet, leather seats and rubber flooring makes cleaning white dog hair much easier. I’ll eventually replace this Lariat hybrid with a new one.

So: Does anyone know the mpg difference in the real world between a hybrid FWD and what is now (in Lariats) mandatory AWD? I’d rather have FW but I doubt Ford will make that available again.

I don't know the difference, and I just finished my first 1000 miles, so not broke in.
I got 35.3 mpg for the first 1000 miles, 75% highway miles. Pretty good, me thinks.

I have a 2026 xl hybrid 2wd with about 5600 miles. I haven't calculated myself, but according to the computer is says I am getting 41.3 mpg overall. Mornings I drive highway with no traffic and evenings bumper to bumper.

I don't know the difference but I live in Reno NV and do mostly high speed driving on my 26 Lariat. Last tank I got 34.5 mpg. Truck has 1000 miles on it.

The overall computer says I'm at 34.8mpg with 2k miles, with probably 2/3 of them highway miles.

I have 24 maverick hybrid and my MPG gage is high so I have to multiply the reading by 92.5. After break in "35,000+miles" my best all city driving ever.

tank took 13.2 gallon by 3 click for 57.8 MPGs. Most of the driving was up and down the
Teays River.

I had a 2024 Hybrid Lariat fwd for 1.5 years and managed a lifetime average of 49.8 mpg.
I've only had my new 2026 Hybrid Lariat awd since February (2,000 mi), and so far my lifetime average is 44.8.
I did notice my 2024 lifetime average took 1.5 years (5,000mi) to max out. Maybe the 2026 will get better yet.
I will add that I think the awd handles much better than the fwd, making it also a safer vehicle.

Sticker says 39 city, 32 highway and 36 combined. I/ve driven a combination of city, highway and rural country. I only have 1100 miles on mine but it says it averaged 39.1

I know that my son can get 2-3 MPG better than me on the same route. He stays within speed limits, I maybe don't.
