2025 Hybrid AWD Backup light issues

Every time that I need to use my Maverick at night and that I need to use the camera to back it up , I notice that the monitor in the cabin is extremely dark and that I can see almost nothing.
I had this experience again last nigh.
I parked my maverick in the garage and I close the door and then I put in reverse to check if the back up lights work at all.
They work just fine but the dispersion of the light is not good; the light is dispersed mostly toward the sides of the pick up with nothing in the center.
In fact at least on my pick up the center, on the garage door, is all dark.
Since I cannot change/modify the back up lights now I am thinking about adding a light in the center like in the unused hitch, like I saw on some pickups which have an additional stop light in it.
Does any one knows about such a existing light?

Just a word of caution....there are a bunch of threads on this about installing this type of light that will affect your blind-spot mirror light, among other lighting issues. Worse yet, you have to hack into the wiring. There are pods that are made for our Mavs, so please do a little more research.

No I did not, I could find the setting and the screen is plenty bright during the day. The problem is that no light to illuminate the surrounding is available to the camera in the dark .

I have the 4K towing package which come with a 7 pin connector, I can connect the light right into the receptacle

That's good, but others have had issues irregardless of trim with those type of lights. Just suggesting you check out other alternatives.

I just ordered LED bulbs to try first. They be here tomorrow.

You are too close to the garage door.
The light is interrupted in it's travel.
Backing up to my Rav4 with spare tire - plenty of light until I've gotten to last yellow bar, then it gets dark because the light is hitting that tire and bouncing/blocked.

You are correct. The 4K towing package does require co-pilot 360 I just priced it out on Ford's website.

Blind spot mirrors are included in the 360 package which you had to get when you got the 4K top package. See post above.
. It would be helpful if you could post a screenshot or an actual photo of your window sticker.

^This is my thought as well. How close is the garage door to your taillights? The light from the reverse lamps wouldn't converge on the center of view until several feet back from the bumper.
