I would not expect great leaps as far as changes go on the 25. Real interior tweaks correcting scratchabiliy and switchology issues (like drive mode default to last used), different colors inside. Things outside: fix left rear wheel gap in fender liner (if not sooner), make rear with hitch less vulnerable to mass damage from impact, return sliding or power window to all models. Fix all bugs that have continued to plague the model that have not been corrected. Like the right rear passenger window. A sportier trim package would be nice and not difficult to do. I could hope for more, but really I just expect problem areas to be fixed.

I do wish they'd offer a tow-prep package, given the large number of us buying Hybrid Mavericks to Flat-tow. Probably $100 worth of metal and wiring by Ford could easily bring a $1000 package fee.

I just bought the DEMCO towbar baseplate for $782 delivered, and I'll have to install it and wire up the lights myself. I'd love to have a Ford factory option, and might even spend $1500 for Ford to set all that up for me. @Ford Motor Company
interesting idea. FoMoCo could definitely integrate to the tow hook locations, integrate a wire harness with flat tow mode, etc.

I don't think I've ever seen a factory flat towing option on anything, but admittedly I haven't been shopping for a Wrangler or Prius like... ever.

Judging by the Escapes, I'd expect about the same amount of changes.

I'm just wondering if this will definitely be the year that the Maverick undergoes a mid-cycle refresh and will possibly offer more features/a mild facelift. I figured since this will be the Maverick's fourth model year (which is hard to believe already) it's gotta be time for some slight changes. It would be nice if ventilated seats were offered at least on the Lariat trim and some upgraded exterior cosmetics such as full LED taillights/reverse lights, LED front turn signals, or add fog lights. What would you like to have offered on the '25 Maverick?
Some people have expressed an interest ina 2.3L Ecoboost engine. That would go over well with the "rod mod" folks! Might even increase tow capacity?

I would like to see Ford get back to the original idea of a basic, affordable Maverick for working people without big budgets. Make it possible to order an XL hybrid without waiting years. The market is already flooded with high end luxury trucks.
I'd like to see that too but Ford doesn't make a whole lot of money on base models of inexpensive vehicles would be my guess.

I have seen some sources mention that a Maverick ST is in the works for 2025 as well as finally and AWD hybrid. Don't know what other things will change.

Maybe a Courier? Time to get back to basics.. I don’t know how it is in the Mainland but here in Hawaii there are a LOT of those tiny Japanese trucks and I wouldn’t buy one because they were probably floating in the Tsunami…

It would be nice if they offered a "Base" model, then the XL, XLT and Lariat. The base would be kind of a work truck but you could order the things you need ala carte.
More base than an XL? If anything they would add a higher trim since Ford is moving away from base models. But yes, 2025 is supposed to be the MCE year. 2028 is the new Maverick using the P778 code.
